Got two tickets for Saturdays game - taking my 11 year old rugby playing lad for his first time at Twickenham.
Can't bloody wait.
I'm a season ticket holder at Tigers so got mine through them.
The club I coach at also have a few tickets floating around.
Gutted I don't have Sky Sports grr - Kids Xmas Fayre so would have to miss it anyway. Can't bloody wait.

The World Cup rather ruined it for me. Before then, I'd go at least once or twice a year for England internationals, and I don't remember ever paying more than £60 for a ticket for any match. The 2012 NZ game cost me £54.Can't bloody wait.

Then they slammed all the prices up for the RWC, and they never dropped back down anything like to where they'd previously been afterwards. Even Italy in the 6 Nations is, iirc, £67 upwards on the club ballot, and I'm sure that always used to be priced cheap specifically to encourage families along?

Taking our family of 4 to Twickers is now sillyThen they slammed all the prices up for the RWC, and they never dropped back down anything like to where they'd previously been afterwards. Train £20 each so £80
Taxi to the station £20 return
Tickets £65 each min £260
Burgers chips for 4 easily £35
Drinks let's say £100 all up (family drinking quantity else heaps more)
So £495.
Expensive.
Oh no doubt new replica tops so make that another £200.
And travel door to door probably 2hrs each way
Or club 800yards away.... hmm
My tickets were £66 each plus £5 booking fee (!)
I booked parking at Cardinal Vaughn so we haven't far to walk, and that was £30.
Bit of snap and a drink, so £200 for the day...
I really do enjoy watching games in the clubhouse on the big telly, but for an 11 year old to take in the atmosphere at the actual match....worth every penny.
(Unless we lose )

The world cup put a downer on it for me.
Tickets were at least double the usual cost and England were shockingly bad as well.
Used to have some epic nights when I knew some of the squad, but they are long gone now.
Also difficult to get there and back in a day from Manchester without feeling rushed and impossible if it's a later kick off.

I just spent £260 (in total) instead on a second half season ticket for myself and my 8yr old at Quins.
For that, we'll get....
Sale in the Premiership
Edinburgh in the Challenge Cup (Evening)
Sale in the Anglo Welsh Cup (Evening)
Pussycats in the Premiership
Exeter in the Premiership
Wasps in the Premiership
And to make things even better, for the evening matches, they let you take an adult on a child ticket for no extra cost!

Not bad value that, although my season ticket at Tigers for the season is only £100 more.
Tigers also do (think they still do) free season ticket for juniors when accompanied with an adult season ticket holder.
Thing is, getting tickets for an international at Twickenham is a rarity, so I don't begrudge paying the days cost when I can get them.
To be fair to Quins, they need as much support as possible....

If you're struggling to get international tickets, you might find it easier if you join a club even smaller than Leicester (if you can find one)!Tigers also do (think they still do) free season ticket for juniors when accompanied with an adult season ticket holder.

I coach the U9s at my local club (the firsts are National 3 South) and have never struggled to get any tickets I wanted in the club ballot.

Had an email last week though, to say there's two available for Saturdays game.
Actually the coaching part is irrelevant. It's just the being a member that matters, and we require at least one parent of all minis and juniors to be at least a social member.Had an email last week though, to say there's two available for Saturdays game.
Yes. Not going to plan at all, unless the plan is to give the Aussies a big fat headstart.
ETA: I've worked it out. The groundsman has asked England to stay off the turf at the Australian end of the field. Must have been reseeded recently.

You called it right, England now attacking at the same end they defended in the first halfETA: I've worked it out. The groundsman has asked England to stay off the turf at the Australian end of the field. Must have been reseeded recently.
