Switched over to the snooker at the moment Wenbo missed that black for the match. A stroke of luck for Ronnie but he did play very well in the final frame with a flawless break. Glad to see that Higgins is out. Would love to see Ronnie win the Masters again however it's hard to see past Selby these days when it comes to the big events.

Meanwhile it appears someone has been having a word with Ronnie recently.

Ronnie not having it all his own way at the moment, but I still think he will win it.

Would have loved to have seen Fu win the tournament, seems a nice person.
Especially after giving Higgins a thrashing.

I wish they'd crack down on the fking louts in the audience shouting out. Applause is enough, yobs have no place in snooker.

The ref has had a word in every session I've seen this week. Seems to be 'acceptable' because it's a London crowd, blah blah blah. I think it's a little bit of the darts element invading the game.

I want Ronnie to win but would like to see a Perry comeback of sorts here so we have a close finish. Come on Joe.

yes

It's been almost 11 years - doesn't feel that long. He was a great snooker player and going by what others have said a nice bloke too. Still remember him turning up to the world championships only a few weeks after finishing a round of chemotherapy - he looked so ill yet still fought hard and competed fiercely albeit he eventually lost. He died a few months later. frown

I popped out at 7.30 when it was 5-4 ,didn't expect it to be 8-4 on return.

Ronnie can't flunk it now Shirley ?....at 8-6

I'm a big fan of Ronnie, but part of me wants Joe to win because he looks so deflated when the camera zooms in on his face.

Snooker?

Not exactly difficult to rig the outcome is it?

It's a comedy of errors in this frame ,neither can pot a ball.

I see Stuart Bingham is in a spot of bother for betting on matches, hope it's not another Stephen lee type thing as Bingham seems an OK guy.
