Ultimately considerably more sensible than the rumours put about would have everyone believe.

Still think Launchberry is hard done by v Kruis

I think Kruis is a better player, and then when you partner up with Sarries teammates it makes a lot of sense.

I'm assuming Lawes got the nod as additional cover at 6 as well as Itoji. Launchberry only plays one position.

The Scots have been a trifle unlucky - only two in there.

I will confess I'm no Gatland fan, but 12 Welsh men and Only 2 Scots! Can somebody remind me in this years 6 nations who won the Scotland V Wales game and the Scotland V Ireland game!

Oh yes lets pick a Captain who is F**KING INJURED! The Bloke can only play on Friday night, in Cardiff, with a roof over his head!

Not that many more credible candidates though. Jonny Gray is probably unlucky, Hamish Watson would have been in with a shout but there's an awful lot of strength at back row. WP Nel would have gone had he been fit. Other than that....

In the interests of balance, can somebody remind me who got utterly prison shamed by England?

He'll be fit by the start of the tour. As for only playing in Cardiff with a roof over his head, what on earth are you gibbering on about? laugh

Where's the uncapped player? Seem to remember Greenwood & possibly Robinson in the past. Is it Sinckler?

Sinkler has been capped by England and the misconception that the Lions always pick an uncapped player isn't true.

Agreed. As much as AWJ can be a giant of the game, he had a pretty unremarkable 6N.

So the 8th best test team by world ranking gets the second most Lions call ups whilst the 5th best team only gets 2. I wonder why? laugh

Fair enough - thought they'd picked him as the bolter on the basis he's only been a finisher/replacement, not a starter/full cap, but if it was a misconception in the first place, I stand corrected...as you were!

Laidlaw has been bloody unlucky.

Gray and Brown will feel a tad miffed too.

That's a fair assessment GS.
