England are just panicking-flapping like anything - Hughes is having a nightmare
TBH I think that quite a few of them I are having a mare So far I think that care is looking ok, Daley is ok as is Lawes... after that (like England) am struggling. Italy are well worth their lead in all honestyLeithen said:

One unusual tactic will not win the match. The ref is part of it and I bet he gets an earful from Jones at half time.
I'd hope he'd tell Jones to politely fk off and read the rule bookHopefully.

Dreadful from England. That's a basic error.
What, not being first to catch it off the post? If our team didn't do that . . . but then they do so I don't know.
If level 5 can manage it, and level 4 and 3 teams that I've followed, come to that.
As I said, pretty basic.

hat, not being first to catch it off the post?
Dawdling around and not anticipating that, I have seen it happen before - more than once. They haven't anything else to defend against at that point. If you can't catch it - be there to tackle the bloke who does

What, not being first to catch it off the post? England's defenders did the watching bit really well. So much so they watched it land in the catcher's arms then thought "Oh!".
Poor from England. If it's not a ruck, pick it up and run forwards, again and again. The Italians will soon get fed up with that.
...and stop giving away silly penalties. The Italians have been great value for the first half, however I suspect that EJ will lend out a few brain cells and a bit of route 1 and we'll come away with a bonus point, but I'm really disappointed with how we've played the first half

If it's a tackle and not a ruck get your hands in pick it up and drive on.
This was my thinking and Nathan Hughes did it once. I assume as long as the tackler makes sure he releases the ball, if no opposition player is near enough to constitute a ruck he can just pick it up and go again Gassing Station | Sports | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
