Saw some articles/stuff on YouTube suggesting a potential Parker Vs Joyce fight, about time we saw Joe fight again, I get the impression everyone's dodging him.
Might be a stinker, Parker can be defensive and has a great chin. Might also be a war, its one of those strange fights, great litmus test for big Joe Joyce, one of my favourite heavyweights!! I'd take him to give anyone a hard night and beat AJ, Whyte and Wilder. Joe's team really wanted this fight. It's a step up, I would say, and gets him greater recognition on the world stage.
He's not a young man; needs to get a wriggle on...
If Fury's chat about retirement is true and were Usyk to have to give up the belts under the circumstances (not sure I can see them stripping him with everything going on) or if AJ were to beat Usyk and take the belts back and subsequently retire; they're likely to be broken up and Joe will hopefully have the opportunity to be in the big fights.

anybody buying this possible rematch rumour for Khan?
It stinks of Khan realizing he now owns Brook with a restrictive rematch clause he wants buying out of. He pretty much confirmed his retirement in the days afterwards so you'd hope that would get rid of any claim he has to setting a rematch up. He was so cagey about retirement talk probably for this very reason.

AJ promotes Angel Fernandez to head trainer. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/mma/article-1058...
Not heard of Angel myself, has been part of AJs setup for last 3 years.

Josh Taylor vs Jack catterall decision been referred to the police by speaker of the House of Commons.
Interesting to see the outcome, was a joke of a decision
Scoring is subjective. The speaker is also Catterall’s MP.Interesting to see the outcome, was a joke of a decision
This ain’t going anywhere unless he has some actual evidence of criminality…which I doubt.

I think that is the answer.
On the (slightly) positive note, getting senior MPs talking about boxing, even if for the "wrong" reasons, should still help bring in new eyeballs wondering what all the fuss is about.

AJ wants an interim fight whilst waiting for Usyk. Joyce, Wilder or Wallin have been suggested.
That is a brave move to take on any of those.
With Parker looking at options, Joe really wants the AJ fight, for obvious reasons! That is a brave move to take on any of those.
Could be a big battle of Britain... as long as it doesn't go the way of their first (amateur?) fight!
AJ could be waiting a while for Usyk and if Fury is serious about retirement; he needs to look at options that'll do good PPV numbers.
Think Joe and Wilder are the big risks but this may end up his last big fight, if he doesn't get Usyk or Fury, so I think he has to give one a go.
Wilder would do better numbers, I'd think, but if either beat him; suspect that may be the end anyway.
Would love to see AJ vs JJ! Joyce's camp are confident Joe could do it... but perhaps Wilder v AJ is the one we've really been waiting for?!
Joyce is just too risky without the financial backing, unless somebody manages to make him look vulnerable AJ should avoid him. Lets face it Dubois kicks like a mule and couldnt dent him.
Wilder would be big money and is probably less risky than Joyce but does he still want it? hes been quiet for a while now.
Wallin gave Fury trouble, but Fury probably took him rather lightly. Wallin is not a knockout artist nor has he fought any other real names so his ability to take a shot from a top 10 heavyweight has to be questioned. He's pretty marketable given the trouble he caused Fury.
I'd be taking Wallin/Kabayel if it were up to me as a keep busy fight
He defintely needs to stay away from Hrgovic/Makhmudov/

Definitely Wallin has to be in with a good chance of getting this fight. I'd be taking Wallin/Kabayel if it were up to me as a keep busy fight

As you say, he gave Fury some trouble, although that was mainly due to the cut Fury picked up. I watched that fight back recently and for large portions of the fight Fury used Wallin as a punch bag - I suspect Joshua would do even better.
Plus there was a focal minority suggesting Whyte was running away from fighting Wallin, so that helps with Wallin's credibility.
Plus Wallin looked pretty terrible against Sokolowski recently. I know he wasn't properly in shape, but nevertheless, he was poor.
Hence I think as an opponent for Joshua, he isn't going to cost a lot of money, and should be a straight forward win, and he should be able to beat him better than Fury did.
For me, both Joyce and Wilder beat AJ. If he takes either man he goes further up in my estimation as he did when he fought Usyk. Say what you like about AJ, he wants to fight the best, he wants to challenge himself. Although I believe Fury to be far the better fighter, ironically, AJ might prove to be a more authentic 'fighting man'.

Conlon V Wood. who are you all tipping??
Looking forward to this one - I think the bookies have Conlan favourite, but I'm going to stick my neck on the line and say Leigh Wood by KO. He's impressed me in his last few outings, especially the Can Xu fight. That being said, whenever I do get rash enough to make a boxing prediction, I rarely get it right!!

But clearly Matchoom now see something in Wood, as they paid quite a lot to win the purse bid for this fight. And if he beats Conlon, that sets up a great fight with Warrington (as I assume he will get past Kiko without too many issues). I think Wood has a decent chance in this fight
