I thought Mark W had a fighting chance going into this but RoS seems to relish a challenge, he just finds an extra couple of gears from somewhere and you feel he probably has a reserve gear on top of those. Just phenomenal. Some of the stats about how long both of them have been at the top of the sport are mindboggling.

In terms of one ball potting, hard to beat and a great temperament.
He has always been one of the best ever in that regard I agree for sure. In terms of one ball potting, hard to beat and a great temperament.
Williams has said he's been able to prolong his career because he doesn't let the pressure bother him anymore, he takes things as they come, moves on from a loss quickly and that enables him to play with more freedom.
Ronnie has said similar things. He often says he doesn't care, can take or leave the game etc etc.
I just somehow find it easier to believe coming from Williams. With O'Sullivan a lot of it is an act.

Even in the early days I always thought that Williams had a better temperament than most anyway. Ronnie has always been full of crap though, so it is difficult to know what is the real truth with him I think. Ronnie has said similar things. He often says he doesn't care, can take or leave the game etc etc.

Totally agree with that and time will tell but I dunno, it just seemed after that match and in the interview he did after the semi final that he was more at peace with himself. Ronnie has said similar things. He often says he doesn't care, can take or leave the game etc etc.

Thought that was nice at the end. Williams with his wife and kids at the table and nice words from both. Had to laugh when Williams said 2 of his kids were there just to watch Ronnie! Nice to see Williams wife go over and hug Ronnie whilst Williams was doing his interview. Surprised Ronnie let her near and didn't just offer the awkward fist bump lol! Seemed to be some genuine respect/friendship there between them all.
