Reports are Higgins has hinted at retirement if he drops out of the Top 16, which he will do if he loses his first round match later on.

Enjoy the snooker, some of the player/pundits get on my nerves, but I'm easily triggered.
However, the little 'fill' scenes the BBC give us are absolute guff. Two pundits chatting and writing on a chalk board or players holding a giant cardboard head of their peers - proper s
