Great signing for Leinster. No, fabulous signing for Leinster.
Handy deputy for when Ross Byrne is on Ireland duty! wink

Only joking, I’m delighted that Jordie (and his sock) is coming to play for us for a while. Very exciting news

How do they afford the wage bill. Must be enormous!

I doubt that's an issue. He is contracted to Hurricanes and Taranaki as well as the AB. I don't think his wage demands were large or the deciding factor for him.

Not specifically Barrett, but having a squad stuffed with internationals must cost a lot.

Half their team are in central contracts with the IRFU.

Will only improve him I think.
I didn’t know about his Irish connection though. Very interesting.
They came over when the kids were very small to manage a dairy herd for a year or so. I played Gaelic football with his dad.

Well I've probably cursed Quins by buying final tickets ahead of the semi, but I figured better to avoid a last second scramble, and it'll be a fun day out even if I end up cheering on Saints or Toulouse! biggrin

Fingers crossed and ever positive, though, I reckon we're going to beat Toulouse in the first 20+ try match in Champions Cup rugby history by 2 points, having led by 31 at half time! rofl

That's a rather specific prediction! laugh

I should put a couple of bucks on that if I were you.

KP, if you get the chance, go down to Toulouse for the semi. We were there last weekend for the Exeter game and the atmosphere inside the stadium has to be experienced to be believed. You could do it as a day trip from Heathrow or make a weekend out of it, it’s well worth it.

I’d love to see 2 English teams in the final but my head is saying Leinster vs Toulouse and that will be a close one.
