Well it was truly dire. Both teams looked tired .... and that was before the start! Mind you the ref didn't really help. Chelsea I think would have been happy to go to penalties. Still congrats to the Blues.

For this match I was very much "Who cares who wins" but in fact I'm quite pleased that Chavski stopped Manure from doing the double.

Yep that was another good final,for some reason i thought it was much later.

That was one of the worst(in along line) of cup finals. What is needed is a team from lower down the leagues, impossible probably, to get to the final. No matter what anyone says the top teams want the Champions league and couldn't give a toss about the F.A cup

Cup Finals vary a lot - even in the "old" days there were boring matches (Man City V Leuicester - 1969, Arsenal V Ipswich - 1978).

I think the new pitch had a certain part to play in the rather lethargic look to Saturday's match.

The pitch didn't help, but I think last year's game between West Ham and Liverpool has been the only non-boring Cup Final since the inception of the Premiership?

I found the game boring - watched the first half and then went and did something else ... like got a life!
