47 would have you in 10th place, you've only got 23 that's why you're in last place.

I think he means 47 points ever. So if we go up again we only need 15 points to beat their record

Tough break that, at least the Championship will still have a club beginning with W to perpetually finish in 7th next year.

We're still 6th after everyone playing today, not bad going. Only because Stoke drew though. All of the top 10 are in with a shout at the playoffs at the moment.

We deserved to win that, but we threw it away. Another missed penalty, and despite having all the possession we couldn't make it count.

This is what I reckon we need. . . .

1)Wolves beat QPR

2)West Brom lose to Coventry

3)Stoke and Colchester Draw

4)Sheff Wed lose to Birmingham

6)Preston lose to Plymouth

If ALL this happens we end up fourth.

That all sounds plausible to me, except maybe Preston beating Plymouth. Do you realise that if we make the play-offs, as of right now that would mean we are 450 minutes of football away from the Premiership?

IF we are to get to the premiership, we're going to have to improve hugely to stay there.

TBH we need to improve even to get there.
