OK... I've just burned a fiver by putting it on the skirt wearers at 99-1!

Happy with those last three overs from our tail - looks like Hogg & Watto can match it with Lee & Warne floggin 53 off the last 3 overs!! OK; it's against scotland but still not too shabby from a couple of bowlers.

I know the next game is only vs NL but drop Tait for Stu Clark FFS! Tait nice & quik but wot use speed if it's all over the shop? That scot innings should hve been over after 20 overs not 40! Our batsmen can win the WC, no prob, but our bowlers have a lot to do IMO.

Loved the interview afterwards when he opened with a typically Irish "Top of the morning to you, where's me pot o' gold" instead of some poor Aussie twang.

The slow replay of the Irish lads all dancing and laughing was true genius. The poor guy just had to stand there and take it, poor fella. The way in which he ran in, fell, scrambled up, turned round, fell, and then dived for the boundary pushing the ball for 4 was so Pythonesque!

First England game tomorrow, does Jimmy get a start? Do I even attempt to work in the afternoon? CAN NOT WAIT!

I guess that as it's Comic Relief a few daft folk in our office will distract us from the boredom of staring at Kwik Fit.

1.30pm

Gives you chance to get home from work, catch the last few overs and then settle down for the 2nd innings from about 5:45pm.
