Gorvid......say boll0x to the snipers

Just football banter.

Were the Blades quiet as mice when we have been relegated??

Were they quiet as mice when they went up??

What goes around comes around. It's all about the manner in which you take the abuse.

Yeeah i know its banter .....but i quite like the Blades , i've a few long time buddies who are ST holders.....Warnock is a freak but he makes me laugh and he's no media 'darling'.....i like blokes who say 'F@~& you ! i don't care what you think of me and i'm not gonna tow your line.....'

all i'm saying is this

If it would have been any team other than WEST HAM .....say for a team not in the media's golden list (you know who you are)

then they would have had the correct punishment laid downupon them

I would be seriously gutted if i were Blades.....

1) they didn't show when it was needed
2) The premier league has given Wet Spam a 'get out of jail free' card

I agree. The whole points/fine thing leaves a real sour taste in the mouth. It does make you wonder what goes on behind the scenes.

The only thing in NW's interview I agreed with was the comment about why would the FA care about a small team from up in Sheffield as opposed to a big London club.

The rest was referees this and referees that. Bollocks.

Cobra ....agreed

The result today was down to Wigan's will to win....no question

but ....it should have been academic

i would bet my house on Wigan / Blades etc being docked points if the boot was on the other foot

It Stinks ....just like the whole Tevez / Mascherano affair does

I sold my SU shares at the end of January, and only held on to about 2000, just in case they stayed up.

The have managed to pluck defeat from the jaws of victory with recent games, and I am told that the legal attempt to get points dediucted from WHU is doomed because the premiership rules are, in efect law because SU signed up to them being the discipline body.

9am tomorrow the last few shares have to go, although I might just wait to see if there is a cdourt case because I won't be able to sell them quick enough!

All this bollox about WHU and points deductions is a complete red herring. Blunts went down for one reason, and one reason only, they didn't rack up enough points, ie they didn't win enough games. Personally I have no particular dislike for the club in general, but I absolutely loathe that gobshite Warnock and am exstatic that it's all gone wrong for the whining git.

Also, from those figures you show, most clubs have been deducted one or two points for "fielding ineligible players". Two points deducted from West-Ham would not alter your position. Anyway most of WH's points came in the last nine games, after Tevez was cleared to play.

What has it got to do with the FA? It is a Premier League matter, not an FA matter.

The full details of the investigation are here:

www.premierleague.com/public/downloads/publications/PL270407final.txt

Reading it only compounds the belief that West Ham were well and truly let off the hook and most of the reasoning given for not deducting points is a complete load of crap!

OK, so as the precedent seems to be to dock a club 2 points for fielding an ineligible player, lets say that West Ham finished not on 41 points but on 39.

By my reckoning, you still go down Gorvid.

You have to win more games mate, don't worry about what everyone else is doing, just look after your own results and you'll be OK.

the two points docked above were under the old 'two points for a win' system?

Now - would 3 points have relegated W H U ?

if not ,how many games that Tevez played should reflect the total points docked?

most of the points docked were for players who only appeared for one or two games.....

Question is, will Warnock sign a new contract or go elsewhere?

Just seen the news which says Warnock wants to stay in the premiership!!......

Its nothing to do with our results..it's to do with breaking the rules and getting away with it for very questionable reasons.

You would have won less games without Teves, but there you go...cheating wins through.
