My renewal form has arrived.

So, my new ticket for next season has gone up to £646 by roughly £120.00. Bit annoyed but half expected.

THEN I find out that I can only buy it using a credit or debit card and that I'll automatically get tickets for cup games aswell, whether I want them or not. Automatically debited from my account, naturally.

Well, sorry Manchester United FC, I could barely afford the new price for just the league tickets but that has just terminated my 20 year season ticket ownership. Thanks for that you s.

Yours sincerely pissed off

I assume you're not just telling us this... you have told MUFC too haven't you?

Alternative route - get a new credit card, buy season ticket, pay off credit card, cancel credit card.

Oh, their version is slightly more abusive.

scratchchin Good plan...

I'm sure there must be some kind of clause involved? I'm going to check it out.

Got to pay the interest somehow you know wink

Seriously, I would do as suggested and get rid of the credit card you buy the ticket on. Surely there is some law against charging you for stuff you haven't ordered, maybe just buy the ticket and then tell them that you don't want any of the cup games (if you don't).
