Do we have a signed deal on this yet?

Dear god I hope this one goes ahead. Last weekends fight was a display of what this lad can do and as long as the training is planned and executed well the hatton v mayweather fight should be a cracker.

You're hoping! PBF says he'll sign, Hatton says he'll sign..........the people who matter will drag this out with contract talks, locations, PPV sales, %'s. And it's these people who will decide when and where it takes place.

Money will be a big factor, thankfully, I don't think Hatton is financially as motivated as Floyd, and that all helps. The other big thing about this fight, is that if it did go ahead, and Hatton did lose, it certainly wouldn't be the end of the world losing to the best P4P fighter in the world (presuming he'll put up a good fight) the exposure alone of fighting Mayweather, would be a massive boost to Hatton across the pond.

Would be fantastic if we saw this one before the end of the year.

Latest on the news is that Hobson has offered PBF $5mil to fight at Wembley. It'd be on at US time, so 2am start and if they get 60,000 in attendance the ticket sales alone would cover most of the purse.

After that I think it's Paul Mag****** in NY. They want Hatton in the UK for the next fight and that Paul fella won't fight here.

Worrying that Warren is now sniffing around.......

Hatton will get beat for sure if he fights Mayweather IMO. I'd want him to win for sure, dumping the mouthy PBF on his ar*e don't get me wrong but I can't see it.

Hatton is a whole weight division smaller than PBF. He is 2" shorter, has a reach 7" less and while a trememdous fighter, doesn't have the defence of PBF.

Remember he fought de la Hoya and came out without a mark on him having taken a few decent shots and de la Hoya digs as hard if not harder than Hatton ... and he was the bigger man anyway.

Common sense says Hatton cannot win this fight. :wants to be proved wrong though:

I think Hatton would struggle to win but I would like him to win too.

I dont think PBF would have the power to knock him down but Hatton has the power to knock PBF down. Also, De La Hoya didn't really take the fight to mayweather where as I think Hatton would steam in and bombard him with shots.

Either way, it would be a great fight.

Still one that I think Hatton would lose, but here's hoping.
