Does anyone fancy doing the 2007-2008 season?

I have created a Pistonheads league so go to http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ and login from last year or create a team and then go to the league section and type in the following code to add your team to the Pistonhead league.

Code to join this league: 3869-1754

Joined - Ben's Boyz.

What team did everyone go for? My starting line up is as follows...

David James
Sylvian Distin
Nicky Shorey
Jolean Lescott
Ronaldo
Fabrice Muamba
Michael Essien
Steven Gerrard.
Frank Lampard
Carlos Tevez
Gabriel Agbonlahor

Taken a gamble on Pompey being good at the back again with James and Distin, also got to hope Shorey's season wasn't a fluke, Muamba only cost 4 points and was very good in the Championship, meant I could spend big and have both Lamps and Ronaldo, hopefully Agbonlahor will be good again. I also think I have the greatest midfield ever.

Looks pretty certain he's off to United, that's why I put him in over Rooney, he's 3.5 points cheaper and just as good, so if he's at United he'll score more points than Rooney I reckon.

TELEGRAPH FANTASY FOOTBALL (the one you have to pay for!) Pistonheads Superleague pin: 8001275.

Some nice changes to what there was last season.

ETA: as well as pin, enter PISTONHEADS as team name.

Good to see some guys taking this up.

I also went big in midfield but am really unsure what to do with my forwards. There are so many options. Tevez, Torrez, Drogba, Rooney????

How does everyone think Torrez will do this season?

I dunno how much he costs but if it's a fair amount I wouldn't bother, he scores at a similar rate to Rooney but doesn't assist as much, definitely wouldn't put him in over Tevez if he's the same price, he still needed more time to be awesome in Spain, so he'll probably need 2 seasons to reach his potential here.
