Can't see anything other than a united win on sunday now
Would have agreed beforehand, a shoe-in now.

Gutted to see him gone, and premature so early in the season.

Shocked that Avram Grant has the job, maybe they know something we don't? I doubt it.

My money is for another Manu title, albeit with Arsenal and Liverpool very close behind.

priceless

im a liverpool fan, and even with the intense rivalry between the teams i always waited for his comments, they would light up even the most boring of games,

and he was the first manager to really give the jock tt ferguson a run for his money both on and of the pitch.

big loss for the premier league.

and avram grant, ex isreal coach to be confirmed as new chelski coach.

im going to the bookies later puttin a tenner on chelski gettin relegated, all the big names will leave in january transfer window.....
Likewise, from another Liverpool fan who'll miss Jose's contributions. How many Chelsea players out of the door now he's gone?

Why? Is that where you were off to?

Guus Hiddink to Chelsea in the new year, after Russia do or don't qualify.(no way will Zola go there)

Jose to Spurs??? probably not, but stranger things happen.

Sky sports news suggest he could be at the training ground later today to review the squad...

No, I just loved his antics, made the Premiership a better place imo.

although I did cringe at someof the stuff he said, more often than not he did a very good job of wnding everyone up and giving them a talking point

will be a poorer place without him IMO

He was very entertaining, but I'm sure my granny could have brought a team to win the premiership, with a few hundred million pounds at her disposal. Abramovich has been made to look a bit of a chump, hardly the world beating team you would expect after blowing a vast chunk of Russia's wealth, is it??.
Would be hilarious, if it wasn't for the good the money could have been put to
back in Russia..

one thing buying a team, another thing to motivate and develop them to play football (unless your gran has her fifa coaching badges)

Did Jose do that then?. Not much return from the money he blew. I dont think that a £25000000 player should need much developing & £100000 a week should surely be enough motivation!.

Keep in mind one of, if not mainly, the reasons he and Roman didn't get along is because Roman wanted to decide who to buy...

Mourinho didn't want to be Sheva at 30m, Roman did.

if you consider the wealth of talent the England squad has they struggle to qualify for tournaments let alone provide a threat to win anything

so in answer to your question, yes he did

besides a number of purchases were forced on him (Sheva, Ballack and others)

futhermore, how much have Liverpool, Arsenal and the Manchesters spent on players? Silly me, they get all their's on a free and we spent the most in the closed season didn't we... rolleyes change the record, it's 3 seasons old

Nothing you can say will change my opinion. Any clown could have won the title & more, given the amount he has spent on the 'team'

So Avram Grant gets the job.

That's quick, it suggests to me that Jose was fired.
