at least we dont have to wait 4 years to get a win against you lot. You'll get all excited for a few days then return to the mire of inconsistency where you have rightfully earned your place over years & years of dissapointment. All the bandwagon jumpers will once again dissapear into the ether only to pop their heads up once more when lightning strikes again in another few years. Before you put me in yr whinging bad loser convict category - I've already posted my congrats on the main thread but "well done" once again.

Fair play to you though, when most of your countryfolk are crying into their Fosters and Barbies you are still here.

Some of us have been predicting an England win all week.
I thought given the weakness of the Aussie front five, England were likely to win if their pack performed.Which is exactly what happened.smile

rofl Nice one Julian.

All the England team need now is to win the WC, get a ticker-tape parade, some MBEs and a few book deals to guarantee theyre never successful again.

You can set your watch by it....

87 QF
91 Final
95 Semi Final
99 QF
03 Winners
07 Semi and who knows

Wouldn't call that record inconsistant would you !!! ps - we beat Aus in 95, 03 and 07, you beat us in 91 !!!!!

"IF" being the key word.

I'll say it again.. if you pull off the win in 2 weeks time then I'll be the first to salute you (and you are as good a chance as any of the other 3 teams IMO) - until then though you remain are the kings of one in a row. Certainly consistent top 4 in many sports but not consistent No.1.
good luck at proving me wrong.

well, you certainly aren't consistently number one, neither are AB, neither are SA,

that's right, like all sports there come times that you have to prove you are number one- those times are often called WORLD CUPS, and if you win a world cup you are presumed (by just about ever rational thinking non trogladyte) to be the best in the world.

sorry chap- but the aussies are far far from the best in the world in rugby.
