It's actually 3 whisky walls... hehe

My "Library" is a U-shape. You can't tell from the photo's but it's a high ceiling - I'm 6'4" and have to stand on a step to get bottles safely from the top shelves!

My wife is very forgiving of my love for buying (and drinking!) whisky...

beer

And they're all open so worth feck-all now...

I've got quite a few bottles that would be worth £££ if they were unopened but I'm not buying for investment - purely for pleasure...

Blimey! If you have a bad day you will not need to visit the off-license! I wish I liked Whisky but I jus can't get the taste for it. Perhaps if I bought a decent bottle it would be different?

Dalwhinnie 15 year-old is one I reccommend to non-whisky drinkers to convert them! Very, very smooth, beautiful sweet malt... Not dear either, maybe £30. Give it a go!

I simply couldn't build up a collection like that.

1) Any bottle would get drunk prior to getting the next one unless I bought them all at once.
2) My liver would give out inside three weeks.

Very nice!

I've been buying whisky for 8 or 9 years and in that time I've probably only finished 30 or 40 bottles.

I'm going through a bit of spending spree at the moment though, have bought about 10 bottles so far this year...

Where do you source your sauce?

I use 'Mainly Malts' in Bawtry, near Doncaster

And I just shelled out for a botle of Ardbeg Corryvreckan, can't wait for it to arrive. Nightmare to get hold of the stuff and I paid somewhat over the new RRP... eek

aah , I notice that you have the Jack daniels single barrel wink

thats a rather good JD, as I went off JD a while ago (and whisky in general) this stuff renewed my passion in whiskey.

And have tryed most of the whiskey's in Vom Fass in bluewater.

My liquor cupboard is pathetic at the moment. Sherry, Malibu, Tia Maria, jim beam, Ginger wine, a few bottles of red and some stella in the fridge.

Must try harder!
