If his knee was so messed up and he knew in advance, why not postpone the fight? Other fighters have pulled out of fights last minute so why go into a title fight with a reduced chance of winning due to injury?
Same reason he lost. He completely dismissed Bisping and choked on his hubris.

What is hysterical about it? Weidman fought with a broken foot. Conor fought with a bum knee. Rockhold won his previous fight just after a staph infection. Bisping can't see. And on and on.

If the injury was serious enough to cancel the fight, he'd have cancelled.

You were the one laughing and throwing accusations of PEDs. As the post above you says - he was over-confident and lost because of it.

Wondering if he is on something is not the same as making an accusation.

If you say so.

Wonder Boy Thompson appears to be something else, I was surprised at how cautious Rory was, I have to wonder whether the last fight with Robbie Lawler may have changed him, but Wonder Boy has springs in his feet, that side kick i a thing to behold.

Great card all in all this weekend.

Bosse Vs O'Connel was amazing, the hits they were taking and carrying on was quite something to see.

Wonderboy could be something really special, I think Rory was a touch too cautious but I guess that is to be expected after his last fight. I read the bit about him having to really pull himself together after his nose got crunched again. He said there was a voice in his head telling him that it was time to fold and not take anymore... just pushed through it, massive amount of heart there.

How stacked does the UFC 200 card look?!

9 current or former champions on that

I'm glad that conor nate isn't on this card - that would've taken the focus off the other awesome matches on that card

Hendricks needs a win soon, or he'll be for the chop I feel.

I think so, don't you? Hendricks has certainly had his best years now i think, I'd like to see him retire to be honest.

The card is amazing, too much for me to watch in one sitting though, its goi g to take me weeks to get through that lot.

Wha the heck, Brock is coming back?

Why? (beyond the money), and does he have a chance?

He's claiming his illness defeated him, not fighters. He reached out to Uncle Dana and a one-off deal was done. It sounds like he's been taking it seriously....

So how does Brock Lesnar approach this fight?

Classic puncher vs grappler, but Hunt has solid takedown defense, and Velasquez was able to get to his feet easily after Lesnar did get him down, so Lesnar hasnt proved he can keep someone down.

Brock will need to shoot on Hunt at some point, as there is no way his standup is good enough to go even a short while against Hunt. I just cant see how he approaches this? If he gets desperate (which he has shown he does when he starts getting hit) and goes in for a takedown at the wrong time it's lights out.

Odds seem stacked towards Hunt. He's been more active, has good takedown defense, is stocky and strong so may well get back up if taken down, and he can knock out anyone. Brock is unproven for 4 years, coming off two major losses, and doesnt take shots very well (he has a good chin, but a bad reaction to being hit).

Is this just arrogance on Brocks part or does he have a plan? and I mean a plan that doesnt involve rushing in and attempting a takedown as soon as the fight starts. Maybe we'll see something unexpected from him?

Otherwise he's made a very silly move and will be switched off by Hunt quickly.

I have no idea about Hunt or how this fight will go, but Brock has shown he can follow a game-plan and win.
