Throws, joint manipulation, upper body strikes, lower body strikes. Everything boils down to those four things.
Get them sorted and you'll be a killer!biggrin

Oh, both the TUF competitions are showing on ESPN. Look around the 12 am marker on Mondays and Thursdays I think.

Update! Through pure luck I was looking on the tv guide. On ESPN from monday night (midnight start) TUF 16 is on. Also, on wednesday TUF UK vs OZ is on too, again around 12am on ESPN. Can't wait!

Already posted the above :-)

Well, I'm beeped off already... having to listen to a beep every other word. It is midnight, we are grown ups, we know what he is saying anyway so what the beep is the point of the beep?

It is a Dana white show - every second word will be beep this is pathetic, nanny like, patronising nonsense. It's hurting my ears! UFC or ESPN, whoever, get a beeped grip.

For beep sake.

The good news is some good fights/fighters though! The last match had a stunning right hook KO.

And the gooder news... UK v Australia starts tomorrow night!

If Stann beats Bisping, the Yanks will be unbearable.

Must say I enjoyed both TUF series openers. I won't post any spoiler's re:the uk v oz (smashes) but really think there will be some needle in that one! Should be fun. I'm also concerned about the Bisping fight, Stann is very strong with KO power. If Bisping fight's smart his all round game should be enough to win...let's hope so!

Agree very much with this, thought both got off to a good start and am particularly intrigued to see how good some of the upcoming British fighters are. Looks from the trailers that some of the stuff will edge beyond needle though, to outright nastiness.

If Bisping is the new Bisping, benefitting from the stay in the US and is canny maybe has a chance but to be honest I expect Stann to be too strong, too powerful and to potentially get a KO against him. We'll see!

If you watch the Chael vs Stann fight, Stann got man-handled, that's how I see this fight going, Bisping isn't going to let Stann just punch him in the face (I hope). If Bisping comes into the fight with a similar game-plan as the Sonnen fight, I think he'll do fine.

But sonnen has far better wrestling and strength than Bisping who is unlikely to be able to use a similar game plan nearly so effectively to my mind. Stann looks like he'd be physically much stronger than Bisping too. I think his best approach is hit/kick and move hoping to tag him or survive for a points win.

I'm basing Bisping's wrestling and ground game off the Sonnen fight, where to be fair I thought he won that fight.

I'm going to go and watch it again now as you have me second guessing!

I REALLY hope Bisping gets KO'd like he did in the Hendo fight.

Can't wait for Jones v Belfort. I have a funny feeling Belfort will win this...

Tell us what you think once you have. Another factor is that Stann almost certainly hits harder than Sonnen though his wrestling is nowhere near that level.

To be fair the first round Sonnen took him down about 4 times but Bisping got back up straight away. I thought Bisping took him down during the first couple of rounds but he definitely didnt! haha. Bisping control up against the cage was really good though.

The actual stand up fighting in the first two rounds were pretty scrappy, so yeah I agree with you now, it could get messy for Bisping.

Final round was all Chael, sitting on top of him and out manoeuvring him on the ground. Bisping managed to get up eventually and actually take Chael down and hit him with some elbows for the last 10 seconds. So, he may be able to take Stann down in the later rounds if he's tired him out.

I can see why you think he'll get KO'd now.
