Fantastic card apart from Leben fight.
Great KO from Duffee. Seems to have improved a tad since Overeen & Russow
Well chuffed with Okami beating Belcher. Great battle.
Philippou & Boetsch, great that Tim was shown up. Doesn't belong at the top of the division.
Lauzon & Miller, wow. Lauzon is a warrior. Fantastic fight by both, well deserve the fight bonus's
Valasquez. another wow, made Dos Santos look silly. was gutted to see Dos santos out handled.
Next up, Valesquz and Overeem hopefully.
In other news Bisping will get title shot if he gets by Belfort.

Bisping has about as much chance of getting a belt as I do, IMO.
I can't remember seeing a better fight than Lauzon and Miller in a long old while - hate to use the one of the most cliched terms in the sport but both very classy too. Had to chuckle at that little awkward moment they had while waiting for some scissors
As for JDS, there was a few monster hits he took early that just knocked him for six. The fact he made it all the way is testament to how unbelievably tough he is though, proper gent afterwards too. Cain though, what a display. Certainly backs up what he said about being injured the first time round. Hell of a fight.
I actually reckon Boetsch did a decent job of it, broken hand, couldn't see st, and still took a bit of work. Can't deny he goes all out, even if he's not a top ranked fighter.
Leben shouldn't be in the UFC anymore IMO.

Have to agree with that - not top tier material despite the grit.

Again, ditto - wonder if they got the fight of the night bonus, again! Brilliant and very fair referring with the glove thing. Well done him.

I really worried that Cain (quite fancied a bit of rep restoring and chance for a rubber match though have nothing against JDS who is a great fighter and seems a really good bloke) was going to be too repetitive and would get picked off after about the 10th low leg takedown attempt failed, but that shot turned it. JDS obviously as tough as old boots to survive all that but we (brother watched with me) were disappointed with how Cain carried on the same plan and didn't take Dos Santos when he looked ripe for it. Obviously worked but I think it was a risky strategy and that he could have got caught by a (slightly) refreshed JDS in the early moments of the next couple of rounds. Surprised he didn't use more of his venomous lower leg kicks to soften JDS up in round 2 on as well. He did give the lie to Rogan's banging on about Superman levels of undiminishable cardio etc. as he too definitely tired and slowed and his punches looked less likely to be able to stop Santos after c. the middle of round 3 on... Hope we do get the rematch before someone like Overoid upsets the party?

And again! But I thought Phillipou had a great performance and has improved so much. I thought he'd get smashed before the fight and was really surprised at how good his takedown defence was even from the very first moments. He's put some muscle on too over the last couple of years.
Leben shouldn't be in the UFC anymore IMO.
Said exactly the same to my brother at the time - loked like a robot and couldn't deal with the stand up - let alone takedowns - of the very slowest puncher I've ever seen. We said at the time that Brundson's boxing wouldn't let him make it as a pro, an amateur or even in his own gym! I've never seen anyone paw out such slow jabs - looked like his hands were flowing through treacle even before he was tired. Neither should be on any tv card again ever. Utter snoozefest.

I was disappointed with a few of the fights to be honest, lebens and okamis were snooze fests. I enjoyed 'one punches' fight in the prelims, shame he lost. I also agree Tim did pretty well considering. Made me laugh when his corner asked him if he wanted to stop he said 'f*ck no!'. I think he can still do some damage at MW and will be back. The miller fight was amazing, now that is MMA! wish my mates were round to see that it may of converted em into watching the UFC. Have to say i'm pleased for Cain. I 100% agree with LostBMW though, I was waiting for a big shot from JDS in rounds 4/5 especially and all the good work would of been undone. IMHO Cain dragged it on longer than he should. After the punch that stunned JDS he should of gone after him next round. Either on the ground or against the cage a flurry of punches/elbows and he would of stopped it. The longer it went (and cain looked gassed too to me) the more I though JDS might catch him. I also think some of the hype about JDS may be silenced, a little like Tyson after his first loss showed he can be beaten and can't just KO the division without breaking a sweat. Interesting times ahead, I hope Overeem beats bigfoot and gets a title shot.
The prelims were pretty decent but with the exception of the Louzon fight I thought the main event was dull as ditchwater. Just seemed like boring, grind out a victory by humping your opponent to death wrestlers. The Okami and Leben fights were TERRIBLE! The title fight was good for the 1st two rounds.
