I'm not sure on the whole Reebok deal, i think it will put a massive dent in most of the MMA related brands as they'll have little outlet to get their name / products seen by the mainstream MMA audience. the few of us that watch other promotions and UK shows are not enough to sustain a business, especially as from my experience it's the casual fan that buys the most merchandise

really looking forward to the card at the weekend, both of the title fights are brilliant, I think Pettis wins but the Lawler vs Hendricks fight is too close to call

I fought last weekend, if you're interested in seeing a PHer get kicked then you'll probably like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HbddOWuck4&sns...

Pettis to win for me. I think if Hendricks is fully fit he will win vs robbie. He edged it last time with a torn bicep so sadly I think he will stay the champ. BAMMA is on extreme sport on saturday 9pm if you get that channel

Thanks guys, yeah the technical grappling side is my favourite and best area of the game, strange really as I've done striking for a lot longer, I don't have much in the way of natural athletic talent but with grappling technique, strategy and determination can usually overcome that

Nice work, as someone who does BJJ just for fun I've got to give respect to the other lad for not tapping aswell, I'm not that brave/daft.

Really looking forward to tonight, awesome looking card.

Thanks, I'm always respectful as to me it's a sport rather than a fight

I've boxed on and off since I was a kid and then moved to MMA about 7-8 years ago. Never got the hang of boxing (as demonstrated in my videos) but took to grappling quite naturally

Looking at his frame, middleweight would seem best.

Enjoyed the UFC at the weekend, decision in the Main Event was questionable, i can see how it would be scored 48-47 either way but god knows how one judge scored it 49-46 with Lawler winning the 2nd round, 2 & 3 were clearly Hendricks

I was rooting for lawler but Hendricks won that fight I reckon. how he stayed upright at the end of the fifth I've no idea, he was taking a shellacking there!

I thought JH had won, was surprised by the decision.

I had Hendrix winning the 2,3 and 4th, Lawler flurry at the end of the 5th won him that round and the first was even. But what do I know, I think the UFC should be more open about how the judges are scoring this stuff, Lawler's takedown defense was great and maybe they're giving him points for that but at the end of the day JH was applying the pressure and I think he was clearly the better striker throughout, those combinations finishing in the leg kicks could be felt in my front room, ouch!

I definitely had them at 2 rounds each. Hendricks didn't seem to be doing much beyond holding on in the last round so I can see why it went against him. Personally I thought Hendricks had it by a gnats hair, but neither had it by a convincing enough margin that I feel someone got ripped off.

Old adage of leaving it to the judges rings true again I suppose. Whoever scored it 49-46 doesn't deserve to be trusted filli in an Argos slip, never mind a score card.

Enjoyed it though, look forward to the rubber match, suspect Lawler won't be keeping that belt long as much as I enjoy his fights and appreciate his skills.

The UFC don't score the fights - it's the State Athletic Commission. Which is exactly why Dana says 'never leave it in the hands of the judges'.

Yeah, you're right, it's a funny old system that these judges and their system of scoring isn't better known.

Anthony Pettis looked frighteningly efficient in his match too.

UFC 182 in a few weeks time, does anyone think that Comier can win?
