I don't know how JBJ can - I'm looking forward to him being properly rag-dolled.

I think it would be crazy to count out Jones. All the same, I have a feeling DC can get it done. I have to say, I love Jones current persona. The little exchange with Cormier was brilliant. If you're going to be a st you might as well do it with gusto.

Should be a great fight. First time I ever saw Cormier was when he switched off Bigfoot with amazing boxing when everyone had been waxing lyrical about his wrestling. Jones is definitely in for a tough night.

This, I would like to see this.

Pettis had it from the beginning if you ask me. He out efficiented Melendez. Defended the shots well and took his opportunities well.

Re Lawler and Hendricks. I really wasn't sure at the end that the decision was right Looking back though I suppose one point is that Robbie never looked out of touch or in danger, OK there was a time when he appeared to be standing there just taking everything that Johny could throw at him. But maybe that's the point. He defended something like 10 of 15 takedown attempts. That's impressive. And he got more strikes in too.
I don't think the win was overly gracious though.

All in all, good card though, and yes again the female fight was a bit hard to watch. She went out like a light.

Agree with most on here that Hendricks won that fight. I was cheering Robbie too but he coasted a couple of rounds I just don't see how he took the belt off Hendricks. Still I'm pleased for Robbie he is a top bloke. Thought Gil had a great gameplan to neutralise Pettis then in a split second he won. Pettis is pretty special. Khabib next would be fun though! Great head kick KO from Josh too! I also would like to see JBJ lose, not Cormier's biggest fan but he has waited for his shot and he is a serious handful. I think JBJ unorthodox striking might edge it but lets hope its a war!

2nd decision now that's gone against JH
1st one being the GSP fight

I think the is a growing call for the rules / points to be revisited to align to the world of MMA ? Octagon control vs. dominance vs. attack based strategy

Just watched the weigh ins for tomorrow's fight night... Looks like a decent card, quite excited by this one. I'll be staying up to watch after I get in from the pub I think (and, no doubt, falling asleep just before the main event again hehe )

Hell yes. I've sent a message to Tommy Toe Hold to try and get him to do a skit of Nate complaining how 'hitters won't stand in front of him and get hit.....Wimps. What are they afraid of? Cheaters.... (etc)'

Rampage is coming back....

Will see the Pride era Rampage or one dimensional Rampage - would he stand a chance against the likes of Jones, Comier or Gustafsson ?

He lost to Glover Teixeira, who was them taken out easily by JBJ. Personally he's back for a 3-5 fight run as a name 'gatekeeper' to see if the up and comers can cut the mustard.
