I train myself, including with a couple of them on the odd occasion, so have a fair idea. They move in a different way to us normal people. I do take your point though smile

If one was being cynical, it's a rather handy way for Dana to eke out the absolute maximum $$$ wouldn't you say? No no. No THIS is the big fight you've all been waiting for. Promise. Bought a ticket? PPV? Ah shucks guys, fighter's injured. No no. No seriously, the NEXT fight is going to be the big one, better get your tickets now.... Rinse and repeat.

4 times in 8 fights. 50% attrition rate. Highest in UFC.

I doubt it's got anything to do with Conor, probably just bad luck, although Conor isn't seeing it that way obviously...

"They all have sore vaginas lately, it's crazy, there's something going on, I don't know. Dos Anjos broke his foot and his vagina in the same damn day. Same with [Frankie] Edgar. I couldn't believe the odds of that to happen."

Injuries do happen but statistically it's high against McGregor.
Should mibbee follow his lead and stop full on sparring and concentrate on movement etc in last couple of weeks.
But as I said innocuous things can cause injuries.
I snapped my Tib and Fib in December drilling Judo takedowns for BJJ, something we've done 1000s of times and still don't know how my leg planted and trapped between my wrestling partner and his weight fell on it during takedown.

But being cynical the Diaz fight will keep fans interested and provided McGregor wins sets up UFC 200 for a mega pay deal for the promotion.

Ps edited to add gratuitous X ray of my leg

Love Conor. Last year after Aldo pulled out. Great comment at 50s.

Who does like connor? bar fans
I do. Not really a fan, but he is entertaining and I tend to like techincal fighters more than brawlers. I think he is far, far more skilled than a lot of us give him credit for or are capable of appreciating. The Dos Anjos thing is a bit fishy.
