What!?

There's a BIG difference between a 22 vs 26 year old, and a 37 vs 41 year old.

Factor in how long silva has been in the fight game, and how much more punishment he's had to ensure, especially over the past few years, then yes, age does have a BIG part to pay in this fight.
Have you any links that support that age thing?

edit.

close weight, but I guess Daniel cuts a bit, so really about 210, 215?

Biggest issue I reckon is the three day thing.

Bt sport have ufc 200 billed as Tate vs Nunes on the TV guide, is that going to be the headliner now?

I've just realised with the TUF final and Johanna vs Claudia and the stuff from during the week and tomorrow nights stuff I'll have about 12 hours of UFC to work my way through when I get a chance next week :-)

Links?
Look back at history, and what's happened to soo many previous fighters in the UFC will back up what I said regarding age. There's no need for any links.

Yes there is, otherwise it's conjecture or opinion.

Good fight for the straw weight ladies title. (The rest of the card was fairly 'meh' I thought?)

I really disliked Joanna during TUF, but performances like that are hard to put down.

Brock is very one dimensional. It's quite amazing that despite the money behind him and the time he has, his striking skills have really not improved.

Couldn't find anywhere to listen to it, I just looked at the results.
A nice lil win for Brock.

Been listening to Rogan podcasts this week, I'll be interested to see what he has to say.

I thought 200 was a little lackluster after all the build up. didn't help that jones got popped and they took mcgregor off the card. 202 is looking more interesting at this point.

I was going to say much the same. The ladies title had an emphatic finish. The opening main event fight also. Everything else... Meh.

It was rather dull.

After catching up with the bits I slept through I'm inclined to agree.

After all the hype and promise it did fail to deliver a tad. In private I imagine the UFC brass are kicking themselves for dropping Conor. Or not, as they now get to hype 202 to the max...

Best bit of the weekend for me:

I kind of agree having now caught up with all but the TUF finale.

I thought lesnar did everything he needed to do to beat Hunt, as disapointing as it was to watch he pulled it out of the bag, pitty Hunt couldn't at least get a couple of good shots in, that would have made it interesting.

I even thought the Edgar vs Aldo fight was a tad boring to be honest. Very technical of course but a bit it boring to actually watch.

The ladies Bantam division now has another champion. What's that now? 3 new champions in as many title shots? Do we think Nunes will be the first since Rousey to defened her title? Looking at who else is left I think so. I guess Pena might be able to give her a run for her money, but Nunes is so powerful, she hits more like a man.

Re 202. I personally think that Diaz is going to demolish McGreggor again. But I guess we will see.
