I'm not a doctor but I'd say that's pretty serious. st. It bring into quite stark contrast the cognitive dissonance most of us practice when watching and practising combat sports. Hopefully Cyborg will be able to continue his Jujitsu career but I hope this is an end to his getting punched in the head.
A lucky man to be alive I'd say.

That homie needs to retire. Even if his skull wasn't smashed in, he's been KOed like 12 times.

Thing is Cormier was being very conservative with his approach. Just looking to take it to the ground etc. He said as much after the fight. He knew it was dull to watch.

All credit to Silva for stepping up but you can't read much in to either of their performance.

Agreed. I like Cormier a lot, too. It was an interesting matchup on paper, but neither was in a position to really give it their all.

Cris Cyborg did in 2015.

Agree it's likely to be a Brazilian. Some of those girls are hench!

Well 201 in the books. Far, far better than 200. What a punch....

Shame it wasn't a bit more of a fight, but yeah, what a punch that was! Scary power and speed.

I was looking forward to a typical Robbie Lawlor tear up.

Indeed. Caught up with the main card last night, watched the Early Prelims live and yet to see the Prelims...

Good card I thought. Mcuh better than 200.

Really like Karolina, something about her. Knees!

The main event I suspected may go as it did. No arguing with that!

Nope, no arguing at all.
Bam!

Looked like even Lawler agreed on the spot.

Rest of the card was good, watched the prelims but skipped the earlys, worth watching?

Indeed, caught up last night. Rodriguez vs Cassares. Wow, that was a show of skill right there.

Not caught up yet as I keep getting waylaid by the bloody Olympics!

Saw the Early Prelims, was pretty good from what I remember.

So UFC 204 has now been officially announced.
Bit of a shame the main card wont start until 3AM but it might make getting tickets a little easier.
Anyone thinking of going?
