What fight were you watching? Conor had 1,2 & 4. Lost 3 round three badly and it was 60/40 in Conors favour in the 5th.

I was very surprised and really impressed with Conor. I couldn't see how he was going to survive from round 3.

Personally I thought Diaz won that - although McGregor got him on the floor a few times it looked to me like Diaz was closer to winning at certain points.

I note that unlike boxing the commentators didn't really give a view at all on who they won, so for the amateurs like it was a lot of guessing.

Indeed, he ran away whenever he was about to gas out (and, to be fair, should have had points deducted). I think Diaz won, hands down. I don't really care for the guy, but he fought his typical fight and picked up steam as the fight went on.

He also nearly finished Conor twice at the end of the round. Personally, barring a knock-out or submission, I think the plan was to give it to Connor. All he had to do was survive.
