I caught up with this episode now. It honestly looked very one-sided to me. Jason Knight is obviously a tough guy but was outclassed the whole fight and it wasn't 'that' great of a fight in my opinion.

I'm expecting Izzy to take it quite comfortably. He's #6 rank and barely beaten anyone of significance. Totally undeserving of a title shot and should be an easy Adesanya win unless Strickland can take him down somehow and lie on top of him.
Would be good to see Adesanya lose but I don't see it happening.

I still stand by my comment that Strickland had no business getting a title fight, but what a performance!
I've definitely seen referees stop fights like that in Round 1. If Herb Dean was in there he may have stopped it in the first round. If it wasn't the cash cow and a title fight then I see it being a stoppage. Strickland did get Adesanya to miss a lot but didn't really feel like he did a great deal other than get Adesanya to back up most of the fight. It was like watching the Terminator continuously walking forward
Adesanya is a one-dimensional fighter and it amazes me that people play his game. Strickland did and still won. But I don't get why others don't close the distance and take Adesanya down. Blachowicz obviously did and was able to win (and probably won the standing competition too).
It's a shame that it wasn't Dricus in there. Not sure who DDP gets to fight next and if Adesanya gets a rematch.
