Jones is injured so the Cormier fight is off until January, shame that as the excitement was really starting to build for that one

Got tickets last week. Not pleased, but I guess these things happen.

Pft. So is it still Jones/DC or is Gus back in the frame?

UFC are offering refunds on tickets if you don't want to go anymore, it's still a decent card though

according to an interview with DC he has been told it's still him and then Gus will fight the winner

Planning to do New Years in Vegas instead, Cracking card remains as you say, but fights like JJ vs DC have incredible atmosphere live - about the only time I bother these days. The older and more boring I get, the more I prefer watching most UFC events from the comfort of a lay-z-boy with an ice cold beer, unless it's a big one.

I've never been to a UFC abroad, i used to go to all the UK ones but don't bother so much anymore unless one of my friends/someone i know is fighting

I'd love to go to one of the big Vegas cards though

Yeah i was surprised at how quick he went out as with his beard it was difficult to feel if i had it in the right position

did anybody watch Metamorisis? i tried to but even as someone that really enjoys grappling i found it pretty boring
Yeah, I did and even as a huge submission grappling fan and participant I'm struggling to see the television potential that Metamorisis seems to think is there. It's just too technical IMO for the average person to get into without actually training themselves.

A fairly 'meh' card from the UFC over the weekend. Ross Pearson looked very sharp though, and OSP stumbled against higher opposition...

Ross needed to win and not let it go to the judges, he didn't need another Diego verdict, he seemed to be doing well and much more what you want from a fight and you don't need to have your training camp in the US to be a winner.

Did any of the main card go to the judges?

Bader is a bit of a beast at times and he was looking lean in the octagon this weekend.

Next week will be interesting with Bisping in China. Last fight he looked good, moved well etc but barely seemed to throw a punch or kick at his opponent. He's not lacking in skill or ability so not sure what happened there.

OSP lost via decision. Bader looked good, but couldn't finish.

Bisping/Le.... I think Bisping is going to be KTFO. Le looks to be fit and healthy for the first time in a long time, and Bisping looked.... well, old, last time out.

Other than the main event i enjoyed the UFC at the weekend, great to see Pearson get the win and Watson picked up a win on the undercard too

I reckon Cung Le will beat Bisping this weekend, Bisping just doesn't seem to have the fire in him anymore for it. though looking at some of the pics of Cung Le in training i'll be suprised if his piss doesn't melt the post fight testing jar

Card was ok. Bit annoyed with BT sport, some West Indian IPL cricket over ran so I missed over an hour of the prelims!! I was really pleased for Ross, that was a tough opponent and he handled Maynard well. Really hoping Bisping can sort his issues out and win at the weekend, just hope his eye injury hasn't taken something from him.

Bisping fight night 48 wasn't set to record on the tivo like fight night 49, so worth checking if you don't plan to watch live.

Starts in around 30mins.

mixed bag with the events this weekend, some cracking fights and some total rubbish. Great performances by Bisping, Woodley, Saunders, Holloway, Mein, RDA & Leites. Bisping looked the best I've seen him in years, really was cutting some great angles when striking.

Bisping was the best he has been, tactically sound and took his chances.

If he can keep that form up then no doubt be going up the rankings once more.
