IBF Lightweight title is currently vacant and Hearn has good working relations with them. Maybe he can send Crolla down that path; chances are Perez won't be desperate to get it on with Crolla again and doubtful the WBA will order the rematch either...

Didn't they spar when AJ was still an amateur?

I can't see Price carrying on much more now. It's not much a problem with his chin, it's how poor he is at defending himself. He was getting knocked around in round 1 and wasn't imposing himself.

Even if he did come back and beat 3-4 more people, if he were signed up to face AJ then AJ would be the heavy favourite.

Gutted for Price. A stoppage like that is enough to destroy whatever confidence he had left.
Joshua was a novice pro......price also gave haye hell when haye was a champion and price was a green novice. It's fking heartbreaking for me to have watched him progress from my amateur gym to the solly all the way to Olympic glory and be a monster who had all his confidence go after Thompson. Tony did to to pricey what Calzaghe did to lacey. He fking ruined him
Mental how Price's career crashed. He was on top of the world, everyone saw him as the next world champ. Now his getting KOed by some random German.

His a nice guy, but he won't cut it with the top heavyweights.

His fked mentally. His reputation is gone down the drain.

Thing is, once a fighter has suffered a TKO then they a medically more likely to suffer more as the threshold a brain has before it shuts down following an impact is lowered every time. Now price has had his 3rd tko then there is little chance of him making any real progress. I would suggest he retire and save further brain trauma

was ringside on Saturday night, have no idea how it was scored so badly by two of the judges.
just watched it again, wondering if alcohol and the mancunian atmosphere had affected my judgement but i'm equally outraged as before.

Even during the price fight I was thinking... Has there ever been a pro boxer who has turned amateur? Is it even possible? Because Price seems like he'd do well in the amateur ranks and there is money to be made and glory to be had, I'm not taking the piss, is it possible?

Come on Quigg!

(martin Murray looked awesome!)
he got Olympic bronze as an amateur and represented England at the world's plenty of times. A fking great amateur!

As for going back from being a pro I would see plenty of problems having previously held a professional boxing g licence. I might be wrong but I'm sure it couldn't happen

Anyone seen the first klitschko fury presser in dusseldorf???

Fury on form already!! This is gonna be a fkin funny build up this...

One thing I noticed when they were stood face to face......there's no way fury is 3 inches taller than wlad. 1 inch maybe but a claimed 6 ft 9 inches is a little ambitious! 6 ft 7 absolute tops

I do thin the MayPac rematch will happen. It has to. It must happen. I soooo want to see my hero Manny get right into his ribs and open him up.

Brilliant bks from Fury.

"You have about as much charisma as my underpants - zero. I'm interested in breaking your face in," Fury said at a news conference.
