Great seats. Hope you enjoy it.
Off to Echo Arena Saturday, Row 4 :-)
Looking forward to see Callum again and Rocky getting a good test, looks like he's sorted his diet out.
Good line up of fights, should be fun.
Cheers fella! You got some decent seats yourself there dude! Good venue the echo and you've got a cracking card as well. Callum smith is really starting to look good. I hope bellew and clev look good to set up the rematch. .....if it ends up half as good as the first time we're going to get a crackerOff to Echo Arena Saturday, Row 4 :-)

Canelo/ lara on in the early hours sunday morning. .......really looking forward to that one!
Joshua needs to be fighting for the British title (minimum) by the end of this year. No need to actually rush him though, as he is so young.
Bellew is cringe-worthy the way he is OBSESSED with Cleverly. I can't see him winning the rematch. British boxing would be a better place without Bellew.

Canelo lara was fking incredible. ....for the record I had him two rounds up. Fascinating to see him gradually take laras legs as the fight progressed. Lara performed well but should have thrown more.
I thought bellew looked great. Measured against a really good guy. Cleverly had a much easier guy in front of him.
Can't wait for the rematch. ....and up at this weight bellew would win I reckon

"Matchroom Sport promoter Eddie Hearn says that unbeaten heavyweight prospect Anthony Joshua (7-0, 7 KO’s) will be fighting next month against former David Price victim 39-year-old journeyman Yaroslav Zavorotnyi (16-7, 14 KO’s) in another ‘step up’ fight for the 24-year-old Joshua on August 30th at the National Stadium in Dublin, Ireland."

Finally got round to catching up with the weekend's action...
Thought the Lara-Alvarez fight was a really interesting clash of styles. I felt Avlarez overall had the better of the fight, but if you took the view that Lara might have nicked the last couple, it's easy to see a very close scorecard...certainly feel it would be a struggle to justify the 117-111! (Must admit, I shake my head in disbelief every time they put the fighter stats up before an Alvarez fight...23 years old! 23!!!)
Really looking forward to Clevery-Bellew II now. It's shaping up to be a fascinating contest. While I think I'd still rate Cleverly as the better fighter, it might just be the case that Bellew is the better Cruiserweight. That said, I can't see Bellew being able to match the pace at which Cleverly fought in the first round of his fight...but there again, how long could Cleverly sustain a pace like that now he's carrying the best part of an extra 2st?
On a related matter; Bellew's conduct(!). Frankly, I think he's behaving like a bell-end, and it's not just Cleverly that brings that out in him - he was pretty much the same in the build-up to the Stevenson fight as well. But, truth be told, I do find him to be a likeable and amusing bell-end, so I forgive him!
Anyway, having a good hard think about trying for tickets for the re-match...atmosphere should be electric!

Tony's OK, I would take a lot of what he says very much tongue in cheek. In the rematch Tony's power is key. I don't think Cleverly had much at the lower weight, he certainly doesn't look like he's taken it to the cruisers. Also Clev's last two opponents have not been much (with respect)
I fancy Bellew to knock him out late on.
Definitely ringside for this one.

Yeah, I'm sure Bellew's a decent guy away from the cameras/outside of a big fight build-up.I fancy Bellew to knock him out late on.

Fair point about Clev's power - he's not feather-fisted but not a concussive hitter either. That said, it's his workrate that's generally been his trump card so far in his career, so it will be interesting to see whether he can carry that, rather than power, up to Cruiserweight.

to be fair to tony, when the cameras are off he is a sound fella. ......all the carry on and turning tables over and the rest of it are all to garner a few more column inches. I think the old timers used to call it ballyhoo.....
I still get a giggle from the 'Nick Cotton' dig! Amirhussain said:
Manny Pacquiao to face undefeated American Chris Algieri on 22 November
Wow seriously?(With the greatest respect as Chris Algeri is clearly hard as nails). He is a guy with an MMA background who came to boxing late then had the night of his life achieving a questionable result (in New York) v an apparently off colour Ruslan Provodnikov.
He gets to fight Pacman? I know that I am cynical but there have to be better matches to be made.
