After last night I can't see many people being too bothered with another fight. It really was poor.

Floyd should sign to fight Manny at the earliest opportunity. I think Floyd would win it in a canter.

After last night I'd imagine it will be channel 5 next time. No way it will command a big audience on PPV again.

It did used to be the huge boxing events that were PPV,but too many are heading that way.

Yeah, very disappointing, at least Bellew had a go, Cleverly confused

I agree, I would still be rooting for Manny, but think Floyd would have him. Imagine if these two fought each other around 2009, THAT would have been worth seeing, it still would be exciting now, but not as much.

Still, lets see how Khan does against Devon Alexander, and wonder if he will ever get a shot at Mayweather...

Don't need to see bellew and clever do it again. Quite boring that. Manny Pacquiao would have finished Algieri with ease five years ago......I wonder if he took his foot off the gas to finally tempt Floyd to sign.???

Lomachenko looked phenomenal again....I just wish he had more power!!

Didnt Sky/Hearn have to stop putting boxing on PPV for a while because the cards were disappointing?

It's the risk you take with live ppv events, people won't continually throw money away. I believe that Hearn and matchroom have been looking at the UFC and are picking up a thing or two, Dana White has been very open in the past about disappointing events and even refunded ppv in the past, that's not going to happen but by putting on big events like last night with a very strong card and regional interest you can mitigate having one disaster fight or worse, like Audley Harrison and David haye, people paying £15 for 3 minutes entertainment. Last night was a great event, I don't know what happened to cleverly but if he did break his hand he deserves a rematch, I thought he was trying some Ali-esque rope-a-dope stuff last night, kept me on the edge of my seat even if it was a let down at the final bell.

Phew, glad I called Bellew, everyone else seemed to be going for Cleverly and I was doubting myself a lot.

I though it was a decent night to be honest, thought the main event would have had a bit more excitement, but Cleverly was weary early on about that left from Bellew, although so weary it did make me wonder about an injured hand.

I thought the undercard was decent to be fair.

Did anyone else get the impression that Cleverly perhaps thought he couldn't win?

Reason I say is he didn't exactly seem distraught at the loss, talking more about his character to fight at Cruiser coming up from Welter etc. He also seemed to be boxing just to avoid getting knocked out. Losing on points he can recover from, bad KO & it would be hard to see where to go. He's also said since he's not a Cruiser, somewhere between that & Light-heavy.

Probably just me though....

The last few big grudge matches seem to have ended with both boxers kissing each other's backsides.

Before the fight you back one and dislike the other. Then after the fight you are then supposed to be convinced maybe the bad guy wasn't such a bad guy like you thought.

It is odd to hear all the bitterness before the fight when you are to be convinced it is real, then one losing the fight, then they are best buddies.

I doubt he thought he couldn't. He stated he found the weight hard. Let's not forget, he's a Light Heavyweight, he has the right frame for LH and isn't exactly big at that weight either.

He's packed on 25lbs (best part of 2 stone) and that's all lean muscle which takes a lot of time to adjust to and he's done it in a very short time.

He'll move back down i'm sure.

Yeah, he didn't seem all that fussed tbh....

Bellew has landed himself a role in Rocky spin-off 'Creed'...

Yeah I think he'll go back down too, glad he's not talking about packing it in...he's only about 26ish I think

He's got a 2:2 in Maths, the world is his oyster, one presumes he's also capable of working out how betting odds work, him loosing on points wasn't the most popular forecast for the fight ... (I don't really mean that, it was below the belt).

If he genuinely broke his hand in round 3 he deserves another shot but there is a lot of pain, operations, rehab to go through for a boxer with dodgy hands, a lad like Cleverly has other options whilst his brain is still in good nick where the likes of Mayweather or Calzaghe (both with glass hands) maybe didn't. I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see him in the ring again.

Yeah & a guy called Arnold Schwarzenegger wished he was able to put that much real muscle on. Arnie says how when he was competing for his 6th championship he says with all his techniques & diets he could (at best)put on 5lb of real muscle in 1 year.
Look at a god ........saying that looking at Arnie training I can see a bout of Cleverly Lol

Apologies, I didn't mean it to be taken so literal, but how I worded it didn't help.

Cleverly put on a lot of weight to reach that level, Bellew didn't have to lose any.
