Agree. Composed, cracking technique, calm and clinical.

Alexander looked lost, could not deal with it.

Very, very good display. I'm impressed.

Missed the Khan fight as I was just too too tired. Looking forwards to watching the highlights. Sounds like he dominated Alexander.

Lol, I went bed at around 12ishhh, I actually was going to get up to watch the fight but I ended up on Youtube watching some natural disasters crap confusedhehe

And I just seen the highlights, Sky Sports 3 had them on. Watched from round 2 onwards. Khans speed was mega, he made Alexander very frustrated. Had a tiny blip in the 8th round, but nothing major. Probably his best performance of his career so far.

It's a shame Amir doesn't get the support of the average boxing fan, and for that matter all Brits.
Win/lose, his fights are as entertaining as they get, and he's far far better than everyone gives him credit for.

Who knows what will happen against Floyd, but there's only 2 fights I want to see floyd have, manny or Khan.

Andy Lee spoiler alert...

LEE'S DONE IT.....FcensoredKING BRILLIANT!!!!!! Delighted for him and for Adam Booth too!!!! biggrin
Fantastic finish by Lee.

He obviously learned a lot from Manny and others in the Kronk Gym.

Looked like a white Tommy Hearns with that finish.

Fantastic!!!

Could be a hard man to beat for awhile..

korobov looks fantastic and is unbeaten to boot.....but remains untested. but he is another eastern block amateur standout. 300-12 was his amateur career and a handful of world amateur gold medals to boot. I can't see past that and see him winning against lee on points (I don't see him as a murderous puncher and lee is quite durable)
Lee's amateur record isn't poor, nowhere on the level of Korobov, but there's just something about Korobov that fails to flatter me.

As you say, he's not a massive puncher and doesn't rely on accumulation of punches either, just very technical.

They're both southpaws and Lee working with Booth will add to him as an overall boxer. Like I said, all being said, Korobov is favourite and I see that, but something says Lee will pull this off.

I'll probably watch him get stacked out in a round now hehe
top call that man!!
Against the grain pick but I doff my cap to you sir

Think Billy Joe Saunders is going to fight Andy Lee soon, number 1 contender for his world title.

Watching a quick little highlights video of Khan-Alexander fight, Khans speed is phenomenal. It was way too much for Alexander. I don't think Mayweather will fight him, probably Kell Brook next year. If he puts on a similar show, he'll annihilate Brook.

Taped Khan and watched it this morning. Great performance. Dominated from the off and his speed is amazing. Definitely too much for Alexander to handle and he kept it up for the vast majority of the fight.

Fantastic performance from him. I'd love to see him fighing Mayweather ...

I think that there are 3x credible opponents for Khan now- Mayweather, Pacman or Brook. I think he could beat Pacquaio, certainly think he would beat Brook but it's hard to imagine anyone would get the win against Mayweather.

If that Thurman bloke fancies a go at Khan then that would be a good option also for Khan I reckon.

Come on guys

As impressive as it was for Khan, and well done to him Pacquiao and Mayweather are levels above Alexander. A point victory over Alexander isn't a very reliable litmus test unfortunately.

Khan wouldn't be able to throw his combos without fear of being tagged hard or countered

Brook is also a big question mark...he took on a tough, powerful, fast, dirty fighter in Porter and took care of him by timing him rushing in and executing a strategy.

I have noticed Khan's strategy of late appears to be about timing his jab and then running his opponent down throwing combos to the head...when he does that he is coming forward with his hands too low because he is not recoiling fully to get his guard back up....because if he did he wouldn't be so fast with his combos. Someone with power and timing able to avoid that first jab can throw him out of his stride as he isncharging forward...could be risky
