Khan is looking very silly now and seems to be a dishonest liar.
ESPN's Dan Rafael stated that Showtime told him they had turned down Khan-Algieri
Also added that IBF confirmed that Khan had turned down the Bradley eliminator.
Khan came out and denied that he turned down Bradley, but IBF Chairman then gave a statement confirming this was the true...
Khan is also now u-turning and saying that Algieri is not actually confirmed so Showtime didn't turn anything down- (yeah right, we all saw you on your wifes youtube!) and Cotto and Broner are also possibles.

If I'm being honest, as much as I like Andy Lee, I wasn't feeling too confident about his chances against Quillin. Just had a nagging doubt that although he was the WBO champion, which was a fantastic story, there was perhaps an element of the stars aligning to make it happen. Firstly, landing that huge right hand when being out-boxed by Jackson, then Quillin choosing to relinquish the belt and one or two others futher up the pecking order not taking the opportunity to fight for the vacant title (inc Billy Joe Saunders because of the Eubank fight), and then finally another huge right hand when a fair way behind on the cards against Korobov. And it seemed the 'luck of the Irish' was still continuing for Lee with Quillin missing the weight, meaning he would still hang on to the belt - and get another big pay-day - even if Quillin destroyed him.
However, I think last night proved Andy Lee is a world champion on his own merits. Fair enough, it wasn't a win, but it's difficult to argue that Quillin was hard done by by the final result. He had the early dominance, but Lee climbed up off the floor twice, rode out the storm and found a way back into the fight (supposedly the hallmark of a champion) and, in the latter stages, was bossing things. To come back like that from an almost unrecoverable position against a fighter of Quillin's status, in his home town, is nothing short of exceptional.
Also, though a non-title fight, if the belt had been on the line, Lee would still have been walking out of the ring with it round his waist. As such, when he next enters the ring as WBO World Middleweight champion, nobody can say he isn't deserving of that title. All in all, a fine night for Andy Lee!
Another fighter who had a fine night without securing a win was Lamont Peterson. I'm not going to complain too bitterly about the scorecards because it was probably one of those fights where round-by-round scoring can give a different outcome to the overall balance of the fight, but I was really expecting Garcia to make a big statement in this fight as a stepping stone into the Welterweight division; instead I think Peterson will emerge with far more credit. It will be interesting to see what the conspiracy theorists make of Garcia's perfect record remaining in tact when rumours abound he's being lined up as Mayweather's next opponent should he come through against Manny...!

I don't rate Garcia that highly. Khan was absolutely thrashing him before he made a reckless mistake he couldn't recover from. Were they to meet again then Khan would beat him quite easily I reckon.Garcia being Mayweather's next opponent would seem unlikely as Garcia isn't at the same weight just yet and would seem like too much of an easy option for Mayweather.

So a few interesting developments over the weekend…
Unfortunately for Froch, Fonfara highlighted exactly why Chavez jr was such an attractive risk-reward fight for him. With that match-up seemingly off the agenda for the foreseeable (it’s going to take a while for Chavez to re-build his standing…if he can even be bothered to do that) and Froch not really chomping at the bit to fight Golovkin or Ward (or even Hopkins), retirement appears that much more likely an outcome now. The only other possibility I see is if James DeGale picks up the IBF belt; perhaps an all-British unification fight, with the chance to regain the title he never lost in the ring, might just get his interest - especially if it can be held at the Forest Ground. Will be interesting to see what noises come out of the Froch camp over the next few days.
Elsewhere, there were a couple of excellent performances in the Light Welterweight division. I thought Lucas Matthysse gave a really impressive showing against Ruslan Provodnikov, despite the Russian putting in his usual gutsy display. Personally, I actually felt it was a little clearer cut than the scorecards had it, even though Provodnikov did have a measure of success during the fight. With that win, Matthysse is right back in the mix in that division. Meanwhile, Terence Crawford if anything looked even more dangerous at Light-Welter than he did at Lightweight…the more I see of him, the more I think he’ll soon be firmly established at the upper end of the P4P listings. With these two names, plus the likes of Peterson (who I was really impressed with last weekend) and Broner floating around, Light-Welterweight is really starting to hot up as a division…
Finally, well done to Derry Mathews! That was proper pain-in-the-backside opponent he was in with – nothing seemed to discourage him and I was amazed he was able to keep that workrate up as long as he did. But Derry hung on in there, mostly stuck to boxing (though let Luiz know he was happy to rough it up if he started taking too many liberties!) and got the nod. Fingers crossed he’ll be able to convert that belt to the full title once he gets the opportunity.

At least DeGale's world title fight is on normal Sky Sports rather than box office, unlike the next Brook fight (I certainly won't be paying for that one).

Completely agree...I'm not convinced it's PPV material (especially when there's another PPV in the same month). Perversely, though, I'm now more minded to actually go and see it live as it will probably be a decent night out! FredClogs said:

Probably to make up for the reduced money for Brook due to missing out on Khan. It's probable I wouldn't even watch it on Sky Sports, let alone pay extra for it!
