I can't see Ward v Smith even being a contest, Ward could take ten years off and still win, no more than a sparring match for him, bookmakers have Ward at odds of 1/80 very rare to see odds like that, but I would have to agree with them.

Really, it just takes one punch though. Might have to put 10p on Smith at this rate.

Let me check those online sites

$60k Fine for Smith. What a silly lad.

Dan Rafael said on his Twitter. “Ward didn’t have to re-weigh. Fight still on. Smith purse was $225k. Lost $45k for being over at weigh-in, then $15k today. Purse now $165k.

So I can't believe he is over weight for a tactical reason with such a heavy fine. That must be his biggest pay day and he's fluffed it.

My daughter wants to stay up all night tonight so I put £5 on Smith to win in the first round in case he is lucky and £5 to win in the last in case Andre is a bit ring rusty and Smith's extra weight means he's less tired. But the mean reason is it will keep my up listening to it to keep company with my daughter without falling asleep biggrin

I doubt I will be winning anything. It's more a fun bet.

Paddypower will give you 16/1 if you fancy getting £1.70 back for Smith to win, personally I would save your 10p. I have nothing against Smith, he just isn't even close to being in the same class as Ward.

See what?

I missed Broner being exposed as an over-hyped piece of st. I also watched Smith being completely and utterly outclassed.

+1. I don't rate him. He'll be finished soon. He just wants a playboys lifestyle.

The fight on BoxNation between Lemieux and N'Dam for the vacant IBF middleweight title.

http://ringsidereport.com/?p=53496&utm_source=...

One of the most entertaining, high-paced, all-action fights I've seen in a long time. Crowd were on their feet throughout, including Bernard Hopkins, who seemed far more excited by the fight than by any of his world title wins I've seen over the years! Lemieux was the star of the show with his relentless, come-forward aggression and seeking the big KO from the first bell to the last, but all credit to N'Dam for showing remarkable resilience and continuing to fight to win rather than just to survive.

I'm now keeping all fingers and toes crossed that Golovkin stays at Middleweight. I think in a year or so, Lemieux will be ready for him. I wouldn't like to say he'd win but there would certainly be fireworks for as long as it lasted!

I think you're spot-on there. I really hope this defeat knocks that obnoxious arrogance out of him (a good deal of which is for show, I'm sure) because if he would just drop all that posturing and playing up to this characature he's created for himself and focus instead on being the best he can be, there is potentially one hell of a boxer in Adrien Broner. By convincing himself (or at least behaving as if he has) - and trying to convince the rest of the world - that he has absolutely everything, it seems to me he's failing to appreciate just how much he actually does have. There is an immense talent there but unless things change, ultimately it won't be fulfilled. That you could say that about someone who is already a three-weight world champion, I think shows just how much potential this guy possesses...

Can't stand Broner and his #aboutbillions bullst.

Porter is a nice guy and I'm really glad he beat Broner. That's all I have to say.
