Cowgirls at Lambeau is going to be fantastic. I'd like to say it should be totally one sided but honestly I think they could give the Pack a decent fight in their current form.
Credit to them, they did brilliantly to claw that game back in the 4th, but they're still making some massive mistakes.

Really, really hope we see another Icebowl though.
They had some of the most horrible officiating go for them though. The picked up flag for PI was criminal, not to mention other horrible decisions throughout.

Wouldn't have changed the result though. Cowboys were just better.

Seriously!

They would have had 1st down on the Cowboy 24 yard line. With 8 minutes to go, a touchdown there almost certainly ends the game for the Cowboys.

And it's not like it was a questionable 'no-call'. They threw the flag, announced the penalty and even marked it out on the field before somehow changing their mind!

Yes, I think so. The Lions played better than I have seen them play all season, and they were dominant in the first half. After that though, the Cowboys were more dynamic and gained real momentum. The Cowboys D stepped it up in the second half and there's no guarantee that the flag would have resulted in a TD.

I think the better team won. I admit I am a bit biased thoughas I'm a Packers fan and think the Cowboys Packers match up at the weekend has much more potential to be entertaining , but I do think this is the right and fairest result.

Well that's the point, they were gaining momentum, but a first down there kills is dead.

I mean they didn't even flag Dex Bryant who came onto the field with no helmet to protest the call...it was embarrassingly incompetent.

Of course, we don't know if Detroit would have scored a touchdown, they could have fumbled or anything...but I just can't believe how bad that call was at that point in the game.

That didn't call for a flag. It's only flaggable if a player who is already on the field removes his helmet. Bryant was not on the field therefore no flag was called for.

So players from the sideline can just come onto the field with their helmets off to protest calls?

Do me a favour.

Rams to LA on the cards again.

Can't blame them, compared to the utter sthole that is St. Louis, Inglewood must seem like paradise. hehe

I'm only repeating what Dean Blandino said. He is the head of officiating for the NFL but if you know better....

Except that's not what he said. He said they could have flagged him as he shouldn't be on the field at all at that point.

He said that a player coming onto the field after the play without a helmet was not an automatic flag, had he been involved in the play it would have been. He said that in this instance it was at the discretion of the officials to throw a flag which I'm guessing they would have done had Des been abusive or threatening. As it was they did not err in not flagging him so it was not, as you suggested, "embarrassingly incompetent".

Just a heads up, NFL UK Season 2015 tickets are on sale now. Current tickets are for all 3 games, individual games will be available from Tuesday. Hopefully going to the Doplhins game on Oct 4th, the other two hold no interest

So what people thoughts for the Superbowl?? After the weekends games i would struggle to see Seattle or NE being beaten at home.

GB and Colts will need to play very very well to get a result.

Pats just snuck by Baltimore, the Colts could be just as close. Hard to see past Seatle with Rogers having that injury, Maybe Lacy will have four shredded wheat.

I think Baltimore has a much better defense than the Colts so NE at home I think will be fine.

That Seattle defense against Rodgers who can barely take 5 steps in the pocket is likely to get creamed.

Can't see past NE v Seattle, with Seattle repeating. Defense wins championships!

Very surprising, I expected it to be quite close all the way.
