The disappointment of back to back losses has been totally eliminated by the news Cincy are coming to Wembley, 'home' game against the Redkins oct 30th. Woohoo!
Won't the pain of defeat hurt ever more up close? Speaking of which, you're also getting the Indianapolis Clots in week 4.

'tis the Jags playing the Dolts in week 4, and the Rams paying the yet to be determined NFC east team that finish in the same divisional spot as the Rams

I'm the least confident I've been all season today. The Patriots travelled without Amendola so 3 of the top 4 receivers this season are out. Gronk needs to have a monster and Le Fell needs to step up if my boys are to have a chance against one of the best defences in the league. The D need to play as well as they have been as well and it looks like Collins is out again. It won't be a shock if the run ends in Denver tonight but I'm hoping for the best. In Bill we trust!

My confounded work schedule means I have to forego the Steelers/Bengals re-match - but one of my Nati-based friends called me on Friday and said he had a spare Club Seat ticket, as one of the regulars had to work - so I bit and flew up there on Saturday afternoon.
Here's the kick-off after our first TD
By some kind of miracle, I just about managed to catch Eifert's TD reception....
Who Dey!
Now awaiting flight to ATL and home - well worth the air-miles, despite being chilly (compared to FL).

Can't say I disagree, there was a few really blatant things that got ignored or missed by the officials for/by both teams.
Missing that one is ridiculous though (that was the touchdown pass).
What are we looking at in this pic Stu? Doesn't appear to be face-mask, or illegal hands to the face, based on that image.Missing that one is ridiculous though (that was the touchdown pass).
I only got to see the highlights this morning - looked to be a great recovery by Denver.

Denver were just the better team on the day. Less miscues, more plays made.
You didn't watch the game then? I was pleased for the young QB and dropping the punt was unforgivable and ultimately cost the game but the refs were appalling. The problem is that you can call holding on nearly every play, likewise PI on both sides of the ball. They are subjective calls and unfortunately the geriatric buffoons in charge yesterday chose to be consistently subjective in penalizing one team. Unfortunately the NFL (and the NBA which also suffers from awful officiating) seems happy to continue with the same old men with failing eyesight and arthritic hips and we all live with the result. I don't understand, with all the money in both games, why they don't recruit and train young, fit officials with good eyesight. Joey fking Crawford was useless 20 years ago and the NBA still inflicts him on us, likewise Walt Coleman who must be 80 and is still in charge of NFL games.

There are always reasons, always what if moments. Move on to the next game rather than passing blame around.

Yep, watched the game, a good one, many ups and downs, Patriots lost, like half the teams do every week.

Oh I forgot, you're a Jets fan. I guess losing is a way of life. There are always reasons, always what if moments. Move on to the next game rather than passing blame around.

Yeah it was a crappy screen cap but the only one I could find on twitter - it was 2x illegal hands to the face / facemask though, and I'm usually the last person to give the Pats anything I only got to see the highlights this morning - looked to be a great recovery by Denver.
Good result for the bengals this weekend. Sucks being a packers fan at present but at least my local team isn't awful this season I guess!

Ungracious to a fault - stereotypical of the Cheatriots.
Tom Shady is kind of running out of people to throw the ball to, so things could start to get interesting through December.
We'll be fine. Gronk will miss 1 game, maybe 2, Danny A will be back in a week or two and Julian by the playoffs.Tom Shady is kind of running out of people to throw the ball to, so things could start to get interesting through December.
The kid who spilled the punt has already been cut.

Some good games this week, unexpected results. Guess there will be more cuts on Monday in New England... but really, such a competitor that Brady.
They were poor. Putting aside the injuries you can't give anyone 3 TD's while their offense is sat on the bench and expect to win. Some of the play calling was questionable too. I'm sure they'll fix it but the path to the prize is looking a little less straight tonight.Gassing Station | Sports | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
