Texans to beat the Pats.
Hopefully, the other AFC South teams will lose.
And the other games?Hopefully, the other AFC South teams will lose.
My picks;
Pats
Cards
Giants
Dolphins
Ravens
Broncos
Panthers
49er's
Chargers
Cowboys
All the others will be to close to call but will choose one if you want to go the whole route

They have a good chance of winning their division again this year so I'll root for the opponents of the other teams but that's about it.

Steelers v Eagles looks like it could be a decent tear up.

TBH, I don't care about the other games. I'm not a fantasy football player and follow the Texans.

aww dont be like that, its only for fun even if you do pick the same teams as me. They have a good chance of winning their division again this year so I'll root for the opponents of the other teams but that's about it.
im not in a league or anything either, just doing it for fun/friend asked me to for his gambling (£1 on a 10 fold = 200 return or something)

Thw play review on the Cincy game for fumble/knee down was pure bullst. Going to be angry about that until we top the division again.
That was't the worst of it. The officiating was a joke - the NFL approach to this game was that it was going to be Part 2 of last seasons wildcard nightmare. The number of Steelers holding infringements that were just ignored by the refs was ridiculous.
However, in truth we screwed ourselves by not challenging Uzomah's TD, ruled incomplete because he didn't get both feet down before being shoved out the back of the end-zone.
He clearly got his knee down - and one knee beats two feet. Marvin fked-up there, because that TD would have changed the entire dynamic.
I'll take 1-1 on the road.

I stream games via Kodi and normally can find a decent stream from Sky Sport, or from one of the US Channels. I refuse to pay for Sky so find this the cheapest route. If your happy to pay the Gamepass is the best option.
I suspect it's hit and miss. And even getting Kodi up and running is somewhat of a mission IMO, especially if you've not done anything like it before. My main complaint was, some weeks it was really hard to find a stream if at all. And being such as it is, there isn't exactly a manual or user guide to help you find the exact thing you want to watch. Just general information on how to use Kodi.
Or you'd find a steam, watch it for 30mins, then get kicked out and unable to connect to it again. Or have to keep trying for 10 mins. Plus I never found a 'live' stream that was any better than a somewhat blocky feed. Not restricted by my internet. Some where ok, almost as good as old fashioned TV, but none close to HD. And when watching on a 60" plasma, blocky video can make it hard to see the ball.
Happy for some pointers (PM) if you know of some good streams.

I don't see why this shouldn't work in the UK and it is unfortunately the middle of the night for you but the Thursday night football is being live streamed on Twitter later on today.

Starting at 7 pm CT with the pregame show, you can go to the link tnf.twitter.com and be able to watch. In addition to seeing the video on your mobile (or other) device, you’ll also get a stream of tweets from other fans and entities that are commenting on the game.

That NFL This Week on BBC2 is crap. 30s of highlights per game and then like 10 minutes of highlights for 2-3 random games. Why?
I'd say it's about as much as they can be expected to fit into a 50 minute show tbh and also what they are allowed to do, given that Sky have the broadcast rights for all live coverage in the UK and also the rights to all the US based highlights shows, etc, that exists. The only exception being the UK based games that have to be broadcast live on terrestrial TV.It's also pretty much the same highlights format that C4 used to run (when they had the rights to Sunday Night Football too) on a Saturday AM with Vernon Kay.
You also have to remember that NFL UK are part of the NFL brand, and therefore have to encourage fans to use all available options for LIVE viewing, be it via Sky, NFL direct, online game passes, etc, to ensure the sport grows in the UK. Especially as they are still hoping for a UK based franchise in a few years time.

I've been a Pats fan since 1984 through good times and bad. We've been to 7 Super Bowls, won 4 and have won more divisional titles than I can remember. We also had the Victor Kiam years and all the other long periods of failure prior to the Kraft / Belichick era.
Tonight was just epic. Nearly every pundit picked Houston. We had a 3rd string rookie QB under center and many big names out with injury. You wouldn't have known it. The team were just awesome in every facet of the game. The D were simply brilliant, special teams stepped up so many times that I lost count (Ryan Allen pinned the Texans inside their own 10 6 times) and the offense hardly missed a beat despite having neither Brady or Garoppolo. The Texans had the much vaunted and hyped Watt and Clowney but neither made any impact. They had a QB who they just gave a $70 million contract to but he didn't take one snap in Patriot territory until well into the 3rd qtr. Meanwhile a rookie QB who nobody had heard of until last Sunday ran the game and LeGarrette Blount, rejected by other teams ran all over the Houston defense.
If anyone wants to debate whether Bill Belichick is the best coach in the league they can have it somewhere else, for me there's no argument. Is he the best of all time? I can't see any cogent argument against.

I cant remember where i read it, might even have been on here but BB has a system that allows new players to come in and be at ease whereas the cowboys, taking last season as an example, as soon as Romo was injured their season fell to stGassing Station | Sports | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
