Big win for my team the Giants last night against the Cowboys. I think they will still clinch the divison but this puts us in a great chance to get into the play-offs.
Defence looks strong, and with OJB anything is possible.
Bugger.... knew I shouldn't have checked this thread, was aiming to watch that match on catch-up tonight and had managed to avoid seeing the result!Defence looks strong, and with OJB anything is possible.

No drama, saves me an evening lol, who was QB for Dallas, Dak or Romo?
From the NFL Site, the basic stats say Dak. Im hoping that Dak stays in at no.1 but if they need to hit the air more, Romo comes in due to a better arm and experience. PLus he must be fit by now and gives them an alternate on the offensive front?Im still thinking itll be a Cowboys vs Raiders finale though the Chiefs or Ravens might be the sneaky teams to make it as well

Download the NFL Mobile app. Has game highlights of all weekly games which I normally use rather than try and wade through 3 hours worth if I can't watch a game live
Yeah i watched the hi-lights on the NFL sight, Dak had 2/3 interceptions all close to the red zone and Dez fumbled it as well. Im guessing its just a 'warm weather' team visiting a 'cold weather' team that screwed them and lots of others up, well thats the excuse im going with anyway
Don't usually post in this thread, but have been reading the media with interest about the NFL playing a few games over here, and would like to get tickets to a game next year if possible.
I'm not an NFL fan at present, but would just really like to see a game live as I think it would be a great experience. I may end up a big fan, who knows
Is there any advice on getting tickets? Where can I get them from?
I have read that the UK games often sell out, so I'm prepared for disappointment!
Any info gratefully received.

All tickets are sold by ticket master and normally start to be released from Jan onwards. Best thing is to sign up to ticket master emails and also subscribe to the NFL sites as they will release the dates when they go on sale. Games are really popular so it's the case of trying on the day, but you often find lots suddenly appear on resale sites straight away
Season tickets go in sale first so if you want to see all games. Single games go on sale after.
If tickets sell out then you will either will have to buy resale, or all the teams release tickets they couldn't sell and these are sold on ticket master a few weeks before the game. Again ticket master does advise you when these go on sale.

Have you watched much on TV? I'm not an NFL fan at present, but would just really like to see a game live as I think it would be a great experience. I may end up a big fan, who knows

I would say that make sure you go for the full experience (the fan zones before the game etc) as personally I think Football is one of the worst sports to watch live in the stadium. You lose a lot of the benefit of replay and multiple camera angles and it's a 60 minute game that lasts over 3 hours and feels like there is barely any action when you don't cut away to a replay or highlights from another game.

I've watched probably 4 or 5 full games since taking a recent interest.
I just wanted the experience of a live NFL game and all the pomp and ceremony that goes with it.
Thanks for the help and suggestions so far.
I hadn't really considered the issue of how long a game is
Having seen a number of games live in the US, the atmosphere both beforehand and during the match cannot be beaten, replays are usually shown on the big screens and if you do the tailgate parties beforehand it can be a cracking day out....I just wanted the experience of a live NFL game and all the pomp and ceremony that goes with it.

That said, I've not yet made it to any of the London games so don't know how they compare
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000756092/art...
London Games Announced:
3 or 4; 9/24/17 or 10/1/17; Baltimore Ravens vs. Jacksonville Jaguars; Wembley Stadium
3 or 4; 9/24/17 or 10/1/17; New Orleans Saints vs. Miami Dolphins; Wembley Stadium
7 or 8; 10/22/17 or 10/29/17; Minnesota Vikings vs. Cleveland Browns; Twickenham Stadium
7 or 8; 10/22/17 or 10/29/17; Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams; Twickenham Stadium
After watching games at Wembley & Twickenham I think i preferred the experience at Wembley. With that in mind we may watch the Vikings this year who are at Twickenham.

Genuinely disappointed with those games. Don't have any passion for any of them. Will have to go to one though as it's an annual thing with my son now, so will likely be Dolphins v Saints by virtue of it being in wembley and the jag's sucking.
Had thought myself that all four next year might be pushing it, so considering we are getting two of the worst teams in the NFL (Jags and Browns) it will be the other two games as they look like more even matches..skahigh said:
Saints Dolphins looks about the best of those but Jags, Rams and Browns are just dull.
London still isn't really attracting any really big matchups as far as I can tell.
You are never going to get any of the teams that can fill a stadium in the US, given past performance of the Dolphins I can't see that being much cop either.London still isn't really attracting any really big matchups as far as I can tell.
Unfortunately I can see our season tickets being sacrificed for next season as we will miss the first game as it clashes with the National Finals at Santa Pod (we are crewing on a race car so I can't not go) and two games at Twickenham, no thanks, not after this seasons experience.

Watching the NFL show on BBC2.....
Don't have Sky Sports but I'm enjoying Osi Umenyiora and Jason Bell (plus Mark Chapman), very funny and entertaining. Though they need to ditch that 'touch screen analysis segment' as the camera is too far away to show the action clearly. Bonefish Blues said:
I'd go so far as to say that it's the best presenter lineup of any sports programme I can remember, I think the dynamic between them is great. If they had a bit more time for content it would be pretty much bob-on.
Id agree, I only realised the other week that its on bbc on a Tuesday night aswell.Packers v Giants coming up at Lambeau.
Awful performance by Miami, Matt Moore had a nightmare. He'll be sore in the morning, the serious hits he took, but probably even sorer over his picks.
Is this next game basically Aaron v Eli?
IMO Aaron has the edge...Go Packers.
Edit, Anton?...I've had a few!
