Couldn't get any streams to work for the GB vs NY game so will have to watch the highlights today to see where it went wrong (NY Fan).

After the dreadful recent seasons im glad we made the play-offs this year, and the defensive looks great going into next year. Just need to work on the offence now.

Should have a whip around and get OBJ some more tack for his gloves

I think therell be a few upsets this weekend with the following Winners;
Seahawks
Pats
Steelers

I think Green Bay are going to beat the Cowboys this weekend, Aaron Rodgers seems to be on top form at the moment.

It would be an upset if any of those teams lost, except possibly the Cowboys. Can't see past a Pats v Hawks rematch in the SB myself.

I dunno, the bookies (ok they go by the favourites as being who has lumped the most amount of money on it seems) as being the Falcons and Chiefs as the faves of their respective games.

As for the Cowboys vs Packers, i think itll either be close or one team will run away with it. I know GB arent the team that Dal played a few weeks ago but then neither are Dallas. For a neutral i think this will be game of the week

Careful, Matt might throw his toys out again at people shortening team names laugh

I wonder if OBJ can only catch with one hand, he dropped most when he tried 2

Think OBJ is turning into a bit of a Lewis Hamilton type, extremely good at what he does, but better known for his shenanigans outside the sport.

Thinking of going to the NFL at either Twickenham or Wembley with the Mrs and 10 year old lad. Always had a passing interest in the game and enjoy it when I watch on TV but it does seem to drag on somewhat. Can anybody who's been to a game advise if it is as stop-start in the flesh as it is on TV?

£120 a ticket is a lot for me to take the lad only for him to be bored.

Thanks

I think i said previously but it can certainly drag in the stadium. When watching on TV think of all the times that you cut away to adverts, the commentators, the replays or breaks to watch a highlight from another game.

It's a 60 minute game that last over 3 hours and players are probably only actually running around for not much more than 10 minutes.

It is as stop start in the flesh as it is on the TV, but there are usually bits and pieces going on in the stadium to keep you entertained during the downtime.

Unless “your team” is playing at Twickenham – I wouldn’t recommend it unless you live close by stick with Wembly.

I've only been to games in the USA but what with cheerleaders, beer, big screens etc.. there's plenty to keep you occupied.

Don't have Sky Sports but I'm enjoying Osi Umenyiora and Jason Bell (plus Mark Chapman), very funny and entertaining. Though they need to ditch that 'touch screen analysis segment' as the camera is too far away to show the action clearly.
I'd go so far as to say that it's the best presenter lineup of any sports programme I can remember, I think the dynamic between them is great. If they had a bit more time for content it would be pretty much bob-on.
Another great show this week. BBC hit gold with Osi and J Bell.

It's obvious that they love doing it.

Reminds me of US stars coming on the Graham Norton Show when you can see them thinking how different it is to how it's done back home - and all the better for it.

Looks like Dallas saved up all their flags for that one game, think the unsportsmanlike conduct flag kinda killed their momentum in the 1st quarter and took them time to get back into their mojo.

Also, was going for a pee but did i hear the Cowboys get flagged while in the huddle later on in the game?

Yep. Player ran out to the huddle than ran off again. Considered unsportsmanlike. Dallas did well, I thought they would lose by more.

Patriots know what they have to do to beat the Squealers. Stop the kicker!

yeah apparently its the first time its been called all season (?), cant see why its considered unsportsmanlike but there you go. Did seem to make the wheels fall off the O though. Also the 2nd to last FG GB kicked, how lucky was that to bounce/skim the upright though the writing was on the wall @ 4mins due to the clock/time keeping. Ah well.

The respective division finales should be close for both games i feel, think the Pats will edge it and the Falcons will run the ball more to beat GB

It's unsportsmanlike because the other team will sub based on who is in the opposition huddle. In this case it looked like a communication break down and was unintentional but the call was correct.
