Long time Broncos fan here, hoping that young Tebow comes good in the future.
I have a photo of me in front of the Mile High Stadium from 1988, had a look around on my way to Sturgis. Bit of a surprise as it was laid out for baseball!

He was a great player, but I don't think you can beat Deion for kick off returning.

Gone quiet here lately so 'bumping' . .

Currently catching up on the Bears Packers game (and loved the ESPN Countdown show!) + have finished watching the Jets v Dolphins game.

What a humdinger! Reminded me how tense and exciting the NFL can be. I was surprised and impressed by the Dolphin's offence (apart from the silly throw away turnover in the 4th quarter) plus enjoyed some good defensive play from both teams.

Shaping up to be a good season smile

The Jets D went to sleep, also missed Revis and Pace, really pleased about Sanchez's improvement though. smile
Bears and Packers was a messy one, can't believe all the penalties from such a talented team, still good though.

Cheers! smile

After a few years of patchy watching and feeling ignorant of all the changes since I was really into this in the 80's and 90s so out of it, I'm really back into it now as I'm catching up with the story of the teams, trends, expectations, strengths and weaknesses and who the star players are.

NFL is such a technical, skilful but aggressive and athletic sport, trouble is you have to watch some plays several times to appreciate who did what, why and what effect it had! I need to go part time just so I have enough hours in the week to catch up what with about 30% of my Sky HD drive capacity of NFL every weekend! Channel 4, Sky and ESPN - it's amazing how thorough the coverage is now.

Really enjoyed the Dolphins Patriots last week, some excellent offensive play on offer in particular.

Rams fan here, not sure why but I've supported them for 20 odd years. Both my Father and my Brother support the Redskins so kind of follow them too.

I do try to watch it on/off on a Sunday evening but depends on various things. Although it's good that it doesnt clash with the soccer on Saturday and Sunday, NFL to me would be perfect to watch on lazy weekend afternoon rather than the night before the working week. I'll have to move..

Finally got to finish watching it today. Raiders should be on TV more often if they'll play like that!

Why are the Raiders popular on here? Why were they popular in the late 80s/early 90s?

After looking at the Superbowl winners list I see they won it in 1984, but from growing up and it being on C4, the only sort of merchandise available for NFL here used to be LA Raiders stuff?
