Bump.
Raiders game vs Chargers tonight for those fans here, second game on sky.
Just found this out by mistake, and came on here to tell everyone. Wow - my first full Raiders game! <rec>
Hope you enjoyed the game, a good way to start.
Finally watched the second half of the game last night. What a surprise! There's been some pretty close games on Sky so far this season.

Wish I could afford to go back to Wembley again this year. Anyone on here going to it?

I went to the first one(Giants-Dolphins) a great atmosphere and much better than a preseason game, a right pain not being able to park at the stadium though. Also a shame about the teams this year...

Hehe, your a bit battered at the moment, should have enough to squish the fish still.

Jets should take care of the Broncos and go into the bye 5-1 to give Revis's hammy a rest to face your guys after.

^^^ Jets look good with LT. Deffo worth a wee cheeky £5 bet.

Your team was no help at all! and New England did the same to the Ravens.
Jets still sitting pretty after scraping past the Boncos though biggrin

Hehe, that was mad wasn't it, Raiders ran riot.
I hope they get a decent turn out this year, but neither team are exactly NFL powerhouses at the moment. frown

Having to give it a miss again. Went to the first 2 games and had a great time, but missed last years as I was skint, and the same this year frown

Heads up to those watching the games today(gamepass or Sky), the clocks havn't moved in the states yet so they kick off at five UK time not six.

Disappointed that the Wembley game is not being covered by the Networks here in the USA except in the local areas. There has been very little talk about it here, despite Godells pontification (again) about a London franchise.

But my Pats are live on FOX for Randy's return biggrin and Favre says he's playing. I expect Mr Mayo to deal with him on the first Vikes drive. biggrin

Just got back from Wembley. Two quarters of boredom alleviated by copious nachos and carlsberg. One quarter of fearing the Broncos would put it out of reach. One quarter of 49ers magic with three outstanding touchdown passes. If their whole season had been like that fourth quarter...

Agreed. I wondered what all the hype was about at half time.

The SF Chronicle summed it up nicely today:

"The crowd at Wembley was enjoying quite the soccer game. The 49ers led at the half 3-nil - and yes, it was announced as such - when all of a sudden, an American football game broke out"

I went with my brother (49ers mad fan) and a mate of mine (who had never even seen AF before but wanted to see the spectacle).

Imagine how he was feeling at half time then!!!!

Luckily the second half was excellent. 49ers should really count themselves lucky though, what with 12 guaranteed points for the Broncos being chalked off due to flags. I laughed my ass off as there was an insanely annoying guy right behind us slagging the 49ers non stop through the first 3 quarters, and he left two minutes before the end in a right strop after the niners scored their last TD and got the interception - brilliant!

All in all a proper good event - even the trains were on time getting away!
