Excited - Season opener tonight.

Recon this is going to be like a playoff game - GB and SEA are likely to be really close at the end of the season so this really does have the opportunity to be a tie breaker.

Seahawks got to be the favourites but I'm a Packers fan so hoping for otherwise.
Really wish it wasn't on so late.
Looking forward to it too!

I know it is not quite live, but I normally go to bed early and get up at about 4:30am and watch it before work. At least I then get a reasonable amount of sleep.

Meet the new packers, same as the old packers.

3 years running we've lost our first game, thankfully it's our toughest game and the season just started so it's no big deal, but we're certainly not the well oiled machine that Seattle are.

Seahawks looked great, but we flattered them with stupid mistakes and horrible linebacker play. I like AJ Hawk from his Ohio State days but he continues to look pretty poor, not quite as awful as brad jones though. On the flip side, Linsey looks promising and while he didn't have a big game, haha Clinton Dix looks like being a great addition. Peppers, I'm not sure yet but I think there could be a great combination there with Matthews.

Onwards and upwards.

I'm going to the raiders dolphins game (raider fan).

Will be my first NFL game so can't wait.
I'm going with a friend; he talked me into it, I've not played or watched the sport since the 80s! It seems to be an expensive way to find out if you still enjoy watching it!

I thought Rodgers didn't look sharp at all, didn't have great protection and made it worse by being slow to get the ball out. Perhaps the receivers weren't separating?

He does like to stay in the pocket, and too many of the times he did the guys in front of him left the door open for the Seahawks D to come rushing. Certainly not Rodgers' best game and a couple of whiffy calls.

As for the receivers, they had a tough night, Seattle closed them out beautifully with excellent coverage.

Raider v Dolphin tickets came today. Can't wait. Me and son had a fantastic time.

I have a pair of Cowboy v Jaguar tickets for Nov 9th if anyone is interested. I bought a pair for me and son, then wife and daughter wanted in on the action, so had to buy another set of 4, so 2 are going spare.

New season, same old st from the Raiders.

Saints / Falcons must have been a good game, Chip must have given some team talk at half time in Philly too!

The Vikes off to a great start!

With Peterson they only need a semi competent QB which they haven't had for a while...it was only the Rams though.

They needed it, as their schedule is tough to say the least!

hehe fastest road to the Super Bowl ever biggrin

Speaking of the pats, has anyone checked on unrepentant? A loss to the dolphins would have me on suicide watch.

Only managed to catch the 1st half of the Pats vs Dolphins and i thought it would be a walkover for them after the Dolphins gave up the ball on so many plays.

Looking forward to seeing how my team the Giants get on against the Lions tonight.

Love having NFL back on the screens. Raiders vs Dolphins will be a good one end of the month.

Was following the games on the NFL app last night. Looks like there were some absolute belters

Saints vs Falcons looked ace - Browns ansd Eagles comebacks looked great too.

Does anyone in the UK have the NFL gamepass? The only alternative is Sunday night football or Vernon Kay a week later. I want more.

Cool, thanks. Definitely worth considering as I'll never get to see the Packers play otherwise.

Was watching the Broncos Colts highlights. Interesting to compare Manning vs Luck.

Manning - legendary QB with great reading of defences and a really clean crisp game. Neally always throws / passes though - he ran for a 1st down at 45s in the link:

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000391343/art...

He runs like my Grandpa did. You can alsmost hear the joints creaking.

Luck is scrappier, but more innovative and exciting. The way he can carry the team, espercially if they're behind is just wonderful to watch.

Both epic QBs (especially when you have a few more years of Luck) but really different styles. If Manning is M Schumacher then Luck is HAmilton.
