Interesting weekend. On one hand I loved the Packers coming back from a thrashing to win, on the other there's no way they should be going down that heavy to the Jets in the first place. Not one for the "fire this guy now" bandwagon, but Dom capers must be skating on incredibly thin ice.

Chargers beating the Seahawks was a surprise, as was the 49ers going down to the bears.

I've got big hopes for the bengals this season. What's scary is how up for it they are even when AJ a Green goes off. Headed to any games this year?

Hopefully AJ wil be fit again week after next.

I'm nailed on for Colts @ Indy Oct19 (my head office is in Indian-no-place), Bucs @ Raymond James Nov 30 (an hour from home) and Steelers @ Cinci the week after (biggest needle game in AFC North).

You?

Ravens game on Oct 26th is all I've got pencilled in so far. Tempted for Packers @ Vikings but not sure I can be bothered. Hoping to catch at least one playoff game this year though - it'd be nice if it was in Cincy. Well, maybe not nice but convenient.

I'll be there. Not sure where the seats are but looking forward to it. Going to try and head up earlier if i can to take in some of the atmosphere. Watched the 49ers vs Jags game last season but only just got there for the start and missed all the atmosphere outside.

As early as possible and enjoy the atmosphere of the tailgate party before hand smile

That was the worst Bill and Tom era performance I have ever seen from the Pats. Painful to watch.

Interesting to see the Raiders have sacked their coach. Given the dismal performance on Sunday (makes it an 0-4 start) I can see why they might do that. I couldn't believe how deflated the crowd got towards the end. Even some American Fans that had come over from California that were sat in front of us who were really vocal at the start had gone quiet.

A few observations from the weekend in general. The fan rally was a bit of a let-down. The last time we were down for a game was the 2011 Buc's vs Bears game and the fan rally's atmosphere was electric. But spread out down Regent street it just didn't have the same feeling, the American style beer and food (Bodeans BBQ for instance) vendors were nowhere to be found instead it was left to the local shops.

The tailgate party (except for Hooters that had a great vibe) was similar a bit spread out with no central stage and closing it off overt two hours before the game kicks was just wrong. There was a lot of annoyed people trying to get into the food court to grab a last minute bite/beer before they went into the stadium.

NFL UK if you are reading this a) put the fan rally back in Trafalgar Square and b) leave the tailgate open for longer – please.

Allen had to go, performances have been terrible for too long now. The coordinators should follow him swiftly out of the door, the play calling has been simply shocking, at times we lined up with one corner covering three receivers against Miami!!!

Unfortunately, it looks very likely we will go 0-16 this season, I can't see how any interim head coach can turn this train wreck around.
