Great day on NFL, so many nail biter finishes going on.

Packers looked dominant, great to see even if it was against a 'meh' team. Nice to see the bears' run of form continue.
Saw the Colts destroy the Bengals. Not ecstatic as I like both but it was pretty conclusive. Hope it's not the start of a Bengals slump.

Nice to see Peyton taking Favre's record, gives Rodgers something to aim for wink

Cowboys game I'm surprised was as close as it was. They should have walked that one.

Too much other stuff to comment on. Pleased, great day in Indy too biggrin
That Colts game is one of the most one sided games I can remember watching in quite a while (that hasn't involved a basement dwelling team).

Any given Sunday. There are no basement dwelling teams.

I think that ship sailed from Foxborough a few weeks ago. wink
Man, that beat-down was fugly. After just squeaking-out a tie at home vs Panthers last week, I fear this could be the makings of our annual slide into a messy scrap for a wild card play-off berth and the inevitable 1st round early bath.
The Bengals inability to hold-up under pressure is one of the few constants in my life.

If you love your football, today is going to be great. Not so great if some family members do not.

I remember my first game back in the 80s, very excited but didn't understand all the rules.

It's good to read up on some of the rules before watching.

Then, and only then, can you shout at the telly with authority and Monday morning spleen.smile

Any Detroit fans at Wembley now are experiencing what it's going to be like to be a London Jaguars fan in a few years time. hehe

hehe

I've been impressed with how the Falcons came out in the first half, particularly the first quarter.

It was nice to see Mick Luckhurst on the pitch for the coin toss and the interview he did with Geoff Shreeves earlier.
A proper trip down memory lane to when I started watching NFL in 1984(ish).

Being a lions fan ive obviously come away very happy with the result! Though without a voice left!! I have to say though whether you support the teams playing or not, get yourself to a game at Wembley. The atmosphere was awesome and the whole day was ace

Best atmosphere I have experienced in the eight Wembley games I've been to, as the majority of the crowd actually got behind the 'home' team. It's been a pretty weird atmosphere at most games previously, compared to what you get in the US.

Seahawks needed that win, although it wasn't pretty at all. We're definitely still on a Superbowl Hangover!

I'm glad Harvin has gone, think Marshawn Lynch will be next to go at the end of the season.

Went to my first ever American Football game on Sunday, what a first game (Used to watch on tv, but drifted away) Great atmosphere, though we could barely hear the penalty calls, perhaps these could be relayed on the screens?

However, is odd you felt the crowd were mostly behind Atlanta, we both felt that the crowd was largely behind Detroit, I guess acoustics really make a difference there.
Wonderful day, and am looking to book up for next year, though I don't think I'll be able to spring a Club Wembley seat next year

Probably depends where you were sitting as well, as we had quite a few Atlanta fans round us, and their owner was just above. The noise when Detroit had a 3rd down suggested that there were neutrals rooting for the Falcons as well - the Samuel L Jackson clips probably helped as well.

I actually like the early start to the game as well...

Anyone seen the games for next year?

'The MIAMI DOLPHINS will host the NEW YORK JETS in Week 4 on Sunday, October 4, the JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS will host the BUFFALO BILLS in Week 7 on Sunday, October 25, and the KANSAS CITY CHIEFS will host the DETROIT LIONS in Week 8 on Sunday, November 1, at Wembley next season, the NFL announced today.'

Happily surprised the Lions are coming back again, so I get another chance to see them, but hopefully they won't make it quite as close as this year! Jets and Dolphins is a big game, with the obligatory Jags game in there. Be interesting to see what ticket sales are like
