biggrin Starting to get confident of the No1 seed this year, particularly given Arizona's recent woes. Matches at Buffalo and against Lions will be tricky though.

I bought NFL gamepass epecially for this game. But it was blackout as SKy Sports were showing it and I don't have Sky Sports. bds.

My team the Giants are having another stinker of a season. Injuries costing us games, and a embarrassing loss to the Jags yesterday making us 3-9 for the season weeping

Good news is we have Beckham Junior who looks pretty special

If that is to be the SB I'm pretty confident the Patriots will win. Considering that GB were at home and had the benefit of some appalling officiating (let's give GB a 1st down for Pats having 12 men on the field - Oh, nobody's walking off and BB is politely pointing out that we don't know what we're doing so we'd better reverse it) it was not a convincing win. The Pats tend to learn from days like that and almost never lose to the same team twice. I expected that we would lose, I thought the margin would be wider.

Glad the Jags won yesterday - means that Oakland are dead last again, and hopefully we'll get the #1 draft pick (no doubt to be traded away for a half-eaten packet of crisps, 2x 4th round draft picks and a vague promise...)

I was really surprised at the NE game plan. They only rushed 18 times the whole game against one of the worst rush defenses in the league.

The NE rushing attack has three very good options so was pretty surprised it wasn't used. Almost seemed that they wanted to get into a passing duel with Rodgers.

Can't disagree with the officiating, it was guff at times. As for the SB, yeah, can't expect it to be any easier if we face you guys again, but we've enough options to keep us adaptable, and I think GB did a solid job of giving Rodgers lots of time and Brady not too much. I'd say theres a fairly even shot at it, maybe slightly favoring the pats. If we get the NFC I'll be more than happy.
One thing that always concerns me in games like that is using Eddie lacy too much, when he gets injured it's going to be a big one.

The defense is certainly back to its frightening best. Not sure if the offense is good enough to carry them through though.

What the hell happened with the 49er's - a loss (and a fairly big one) to the Raiders!

Happy with the Ravens win - keeps em in the hunt for the wildcard spot biggrin

Have to say that I am disappointed with the strategy of the Texans.

With their win against the Titans last week and the Jaguars yesterday, they are still in with a mathematical chance of making the playoffs.

It appears to me that Coach O'Brien is so desperate to get there in his first season, he is not addressing the Quarterback issue.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is inconsistent. Tom Savage (draft pick) is untried.

The Texans will never ever make the Superbowl with Fitzpatrick so I think O'Brien should be playing Savage every game now to see if he's got what it takes.
If he does, great. If we lose every game in the rest of the season and Savage is terrible, then they know what they need to do off season.

Mallet should come back from injury ok next year but he is still relatively untried.

If we don't beat the Colts next week (and I don't think we will) then i hope they give the rookie a chance.

Baldwin is really stepping up into his WR role and our throwing game has increased hugely recently, infact, our whole game has since Percy departed!

I am very confident we will make it to the Superbowl. I also think we will get #1 seed and gain HFA.

I think Baldwin is getting better but he's still a long way down the receiving list across the league. After him, there is basically nothing.

I think you'll be there or thereabouts, and defense wins championships...so anything is possible.

While Houston still have a chance of making the playoffs they should stick with Fitzpatrick. Once the season is a bust they will experiment. Same with Cleveland.

Both ends of the spectrum for the Packers last night. Nice to see Quarless making himself useful, Rodgers playing another blinder and Clay Matthews making a nuisance of himself.

On the flip side that second half was pretty awful, and the defense went to crap for no real reason. Really do think Dom Capers needs replacing next season, and both Bulaga and AJ Hawk both need to improve massively or get the chop, far too many errors.

But, a win is a win and our offense looks mighty. Love seeing them crushing it even when Nelson and Cobb are basically shut down.

Looks like Cam Newton is out for the remainder of the season - injured in a car crash.

Feeling a bit nervous about Sunday's game at t'Bills - especially if Lacy is out.

Yeah bit bummed that we might lose Lacy for a week, but I'd rather he recovered than played through. Davon House looks questionable too.

I'm not sweating it too much, not having Lacy might make us one-dimensional but the one downfall of the Bills' otherwise solid defence is they're not that good with really fast slants, which is what we do well. I'm guessing they'll drop Conb back a few yards and go for short quick runs.

intereted to see what they do with Matthews, id rather see him on the outside against the Bills and Hawk back in.

Jesus Christ that was awful. If the Bills had an offense to speak of it would have been a walloping.

And Seattle put up another monster offensive display hehe

It's currently doing just enough to let the defense do its thing.

Another great display from the Pats. First half was a bit ropey then Bill had a "word", second half 27-0 and total dominance.
