On Saturday's BBC highlights show, it was mentioned that one of Pats' player was a member of the 2016 US Olympic Rugby team. I wasn't surprised at the 'crossover' but found it interesting nonetheless.
Nate Ebner. He scored a couple of tries too. He also forced a turnover on Thursday night against the Texans. Says a lot for the Patriots organization that they not only let him go but encouraged him. BB wore a Nate Ebner rugby shirt in training camp. unrepentant said:

I haven't seen any of this seasons games, that will change on Sunday when I go to Wembley, as we binned sky months ago (the price increases were getting silly) though I am rather happy the Ravens have started 3-0, admittedly I shouldn't be surprised as they were against the Browns, Bills and Jags. That being said the win margins haven't been substantial, it will be interesting to see how they fair against the better teams.
I think I will get the game pass trial once KCOM have connected the fiber internet and see how it runs before forking out for it.

Watching the NFL show on BBC2.....
Don't have Sky Sports but I'm enjoying Osi Umenyiora and Jason Bell (plus Mark Chapman), very funny and entertaining. Though they need to ditch that 'touch screen analysis segment' as the camera is too far away to show the action clearly. Need to bring back Sunday/Monday football though like the good old Channel 5 / Channel 4.

Yeah it was great back then, especially when C5 launched and for a fair few years every night the channel was full of live US sports and decent highlights - before they turned to gambling & casino stuff instead as the rights got more expensive I'm not sure how I survived my late teens & student years with the amount of sleep I must have lost staying up to watch the MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA and all the various shows that covered the IndyCar, Nascar, etc, throughout the year.

Pity, as you said, all we've got nowadays are casino nonsense.

Raiders offense was pretty terrible for most of this game though, no running game to speak of and only really Crab doing anything to help Carr.

Think I was proved right in the end given the final series for the Ravens and the pressure the Raiders brought up front.

I missed the game as I was out and about in London. I only saw the last bit of the 2nd quarter and the first few minutes of the 3rd quarter whilst I was in the hotel for about 1/2 an hour prior to going out again. One loss in four games isn't a bad start to the season to be honest especially after the performance over the last couple of seasons (the last one also dogged with injuries).Raiders offense was pretty terrible for most of this game though, no running game to speak of and only really Crab doing anything to help Carr.
The first NFL game of 2016 in London was mostly a great experience, game day was superb in general, even if the first half of the game was a bit 'meh'
The fan rally on Regent Street as per previous years felt a little lack luster though, unless you wanted to participate in all the activities up and down there (of which there are plenty) other than the bit little bit around the main stage it just feels like there is no atmosphere and in general you just feel like you are in the way of the Saturday shoppers. Sadly as a concept it has probably outgrown Trafalgar Square now, but the times it has been there the atmosphere has been fantastic, plus there are beer stands, street food stalls, it had a real party vibe, Regent Street just doesn't feel like that.

Been a life long Packer fan. Went to see them play the Jags on opening day for the first time. Brilliant!
Did you see Reggie Yates Touchdown USA? If not, catch it on iPlayerhttp://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b07w0tds/regg...
Shows how patriotic Green Bay fans are, phenomenally so!
