Help finding a 1986 turbo esprit

After enquiring for one the other day and being unsuccessful I could do with a helping hand finding one or knowing where to look. I must have driven past this one for over 7 years and it's sadly just left, however the owner won't part with it.

Am I right in thinking its a series 2 car that I'm after or is it a series 3 at 1986 on a d plate? They seem to be quite thin on the ground these days!

Can't see any pics but if it's a 1986 then it's definitely an S3 turbo (unless it languished unregistered for years - which seems unlikely).

When you bear in mind it took Lotus 30 years to sell 10,000 Esprits worldwide they are never going to be common in the classifieds. Yes, that's right - the average is only one car built per day. Even with a relative boom in the mid-1980s they remain a rare creature. Especially once the neglected ones have been scrapped/broken for parts.
