yes it did make me smile when the back end of the spitfire broke out this morning, that corner is always greasy even in the dry, but its good fun in my Caterham

I thought I spotted the Rav4 at Goodwood smile

I'm sure you can imagine I was a bit timid after that!

is that black and white arched thing a sunbeam stilleto?
Think its a 71 NSU TTS, should have a 1200 engine but DVLA says it has a 1998cc in it currently

It may have been a quiet meeting but was still busy given the weather. Never ceases to amaze me the stoical nature of us Brits, wandering round a cold wet and windy motor circuit looking at old cars. I actually enjoyed the fact it was less busy - more like the old days before it got popular! Here's a few from me

One of three McLaren's

I must say I thought the McLarens looked fantastic. There has been a great deal of debate on here and in the press with people saying they are not striking enough visually and that as super-cars go Ferraris and Lambos still win on appearance. Personally I just love the McLaren - it's understated rather then in your face and up close and personal it looks every bit the high performance technological 'tour de force' it is meant to be.

I agree with you 'racing green', it was surprisingly busy considering the heavens were open, and for me the first time I've parked on-site which was great! Although the weather did make it trickier to snap away but it being less crowded meant all the cars weren't as swarmed as previous events!

By the way did anyone see that Martini coloured Seat Leon FR/Cupra?

I think you should be asking "Could anyone miss the Martini coloured Seat Leon FR?" It stood out a bit....

Here's the beast, and to be honest I like it, wouldn't of done it myself if I had one but it's definitely original! Plus note the sea of bland coloured cars next to it.

OMFG I have just read the number plate too, does K1 refer to a cupra or a bodykit option for a cupra?

To be honest I do like it as well. It did look a bit OTT straight after looking at a bunch of classics though.

K1 refers to the model that uses that bodykit but the kit is/was also available individually for quite a cost. Stylance kit??

Apologies for the poor quality of the pics, for some odd reason I got some spots of water on the camera lens

Hi Rich, This is the only one I got; note the wheelie bin, Ed
Not so much pictures more wondering what the actual car was based on?
