Was a pretty good, challenging run down, thanks to Nathan for organizing and leading. Think I was following u for a while in my S3? I had a convoy behind me, so after the speed bumps I pretty much pulled over to let the fast road cars catch up had to do it a few times with the conditions the roads were in, so I just let you get on with your business as we did start all start from clackets together. Moosh- I feel I owe you an apology for the heavy breaking I forced you into on the dual carriageway... after we made our own route up. Im sure I managed to find the first F (fuc*ed) road in England....Jimbo was creasing up with me darting of into a forest at 60mph Shame about the weather but at least I went through the tunnel for my first time and with some lovely noises beside me. Pretty happy about the turn out at the cathedral- but was a bit hard to know who was part of the convoy organised on here Anyway cheers for the route Nathan- although I think I only managed to follow half of it

...Just wanted to say that the run from Clackets was rather slippery but still excellent fun. I couldn't believe the turnout this morning! Considering the poor weather, masses of rare cars turned up. Good to meet you today Grey Ghost, and excellent use of the golf club carpark. The long wait! Gave up on this and walked in.

Hi all. Considering the weather was pants and the traffic in was terrible it wasn't a bad turn out and was enjoyable non the less.
Great to catch up with old peeps and meet some new ones : )
GreyGhost, thanks for leading after the mishap lol. It was a pleasure to run down there with you. Not sure what your on about twitching 4wd's, I didn't see any ; )
Looking forward to more runs throughout the year, albeit in better weather hopefully lol.

Thanks I will be giving rides in the car at the Supercar event at Dunsfold on 23/24th June (Top Gear track) All monies raised goes to The Children's trust, so if you fancy two laps pretty much flat out, come along to the event We had a bit of fun in the tunnel on the way out of Goodwood http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtMsV...eature=g-al...

Yes a great turn out , at Guildford and amazed to see even more than last year turn out at Goodwood. ( or was it just that nobody got sent to the field to park ) Nice attempt at the Hindhead tunnel in convoy, but it all went abit pear shaped near Thursley.
Don't know who was driving that red micra, but you were surprisingly fast throughout those B roads after Guildford. Though alike a few of my fellow Tvr owners I become alittle shy on those sort of roads.
Great morning well worth the early call !
Cheers and hope to see you all again soon.

Also big thanks to Ric for picking up things after the tunnel and getting us all on the Fernhurst road Bob M said: Good to meet you today Grey Ghost, and excellent use of the golf club carpark Pleasure to meet you as well and thanks for the lesson on different types of Lambo If we go again let me know if you fancy a beer/coffee/sandwich etc in The Kennels after as I’m a member

That micra was certainly faster than the other one we got stuck behind doing 25mph in 60 limied for a while. In the end I figured we had enough road and horsepower between us to all get past. With hindsight I would have taken the other route into Goodwood when we got to the last couple of miles and saved an hour queuing!

I do wonder what goes on in someone's mind when they're going less than half the speed limit- look in the rear view mirror and see a trail of 20+ cars behind! Especially when every car goes and overtakes them! Lol So does anyone have any convoy/meet pics? I see there's a separate thread for SS grid pics but how about any more at Guildford or before goodwood? Enjoyed seeing the 5 different coloured gallardo's all in a row
